Pfft Read more. I've posted way dumber than that.

You're wrong. Period.

The guy bet funds that weren't his.

Read TFresh's post.

I bet you $5 on a game but my computer paid you $500 by mistake. Then you start making $100 and $200 bets into me that you normally wouldn't have. One day you ask for a $15K payout and I discover you bet with money that wasn't yours.

I'M NOT PAYING YOU.

Meanwhile I have continued to payout on much higher amounts to my players that regularly bet $10K a game.

I'm still not going to pay you because you cheated ME. Don't even try to flip it around, I am not paying you. FUCK OFF.

Is this what happened?

Case closed!

And, I don't give a fuck if you called IE and IE told you that you were paid correctly. IE was fucking wrong!

Personally, I don't have a problem with 5 dimes....i know my money is safe there...as safe as any book dealing with usa customers and i think that's a fact.
To my knowledge there has never been anyone stiffed or slow payed which is the case of so many books....they do hate winners and will cut limits, but so what. that is their right, and in every instance they paid what was owed.

the problems with this whole scenario that don't even matter if the guy should be paid (fwiw, i'm not sure he should be paid, but I think they can reach some sort of agreement):

1. 6 weeks is way to long for books to re-grade a bet. you can say that the guy took shots, and he very well may have. but you can also look at it as the book taking a shot with him, free-rolling that no matter what he did, they were never going to pay him. just another way of looking at it.

2. Short of taking a gun and robbing the guy, I'm definitely sure that Tony should never have threatened physical violence on the guy. Do I think he meant it? probably not, but it's just bad business. Especially when there is a very good chance the chat logs will become public which they did.

Just a dumb situation, and I bet Tony regrets what he said. They'll for sure still have my action, but just know going in that they aren't a book that caters to customer service if that's what u are looking for in a book. But if you are looking for as safe an out as can be for US, and don't need bells, whistles, and promo's...this is for you.

also somewhere in this mix, their grader has to be somewhat accountable.....I'm sure him/her and Tony had a nice chat.

Good post BDB :0074

Exactly. If you want good soup, you will kiss Tony's ass and keep giving him business because he has a good product.

He didn't get paid 10x the amount should have, he got paid 100x. If you hit a $100 3 team parlay and someone paid you $60,000 instead of $600, would you call in to talk to an agent for confirmation? ior would you get an email confirmation? or would you go to chat so that you can log it? and somehow he's able to track down others who are also being threatened? It makes no sense.

He's able to keep the alleged threatening chat transcripts, but doesn't have any proof that an agent said that it made sense for a $0.57 wager to pay $4k

He sounds like a liar as much as Tony sounds like a poor businessman. IMO, he took a shot and it didn't work and now he's trying to trash the reputation of one of the few books left.

theres the rub(the guy`s story regarding trying to make it right)....and tony`s response leads me to believe what the guy was saying.....i`m curious how many times the guy has to be rebuffed when trying to do the right thing?.....

if the book`s reps are that stupid after having it brought to their attention, what is the guy supposed to do?....

i would agree if he requested a payout without attempting to do the right thing...but,if he`s telling the truth,i agree with him....

I don't remember taking anyone's side here. To that point I agree with you. I'm not saying the guy should get paid. Although, on the TOS posted on Five Dime's site I could argue there is strong reasons both ways.

My only point was the way this guy handles his business and treats/threatens people is reprehensible. Can you defend that?

Stand up guys threaten that you should "sleep well, someone is coming over"?

Really?

That reminds me about something and what happened with those threats? Nothing.

I'm sure Tony is sorry for running his mouth but he is never going to hurt anybody.

Keep hating whatever it is you hate.

Nope. That's not new news either.

Imagine if Tony was a great guy and gave service like BetJamaica did. :scared

best book EVER.......the good old days....

but to fair, I think it just took over as heritage even though heritage was around before and absorbed it's customers. there is zero difference between the books from customer service to payouts, etc.

man i miss the good old days. only a few years ago but feels like forever.

That is what I said on page 1.

If Scotty was running 5dimes just think how much more money 5dimes would make.:scared :scared

Tony has no idea what customer service is, none.

So next time anybody talks to anybody at 5dimes, be nice. Just think of the shit they have to put up with working for a guy like Tony.
