Under a mask.
People aren't going to fly planes into building because they are jealous we have a McDonalds on every corner.

What right do we have to have over 800 military bases in over 100 countries?

I'm sure it works both ways with the other countries in most cases. What about Isreal? They live on the block.Don,t they have the right to be involved in there own back yard?I think so,but nothing is said about that.

Thety best answer is I don't know why they hate us.
I think it runs deeper than defending Saudi Arabia against Iraq,or trying make Iraq a democratic country. If it doesn't than the only conclusion is THEY want to have the influence in the region ,not us.

That in my mind spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. trouble.

Do you think Bush was a conservative? What figures did you put up? The ones that showed how bad our cities are because we are spending all of our money cleaning up that sewer in Irag? And making sure the aliban has something decent to take over.

Then why don't we kill them. We could wipe them off the face of the earth in 24 hours. But there is not much money in that I suppose.

Cmon now. You know we cant just kill everyone including women and children. We are actually civilized. What does going after terrorist have to do with the money other than the trilliions its costing us?

Then why do I pay for all these weapons and make the strongest military in the world if I am going to be reduced to becoming a walking target? Certain people are making money keeping these wars going. The rest of us are starving. It is up to the Iraqies to put their country in shape, not me and you. Same in Afghan.
We can bomb the shit out of them every year or two. Sooner or later they will get the message. And no Americans die.

Makes sense to me. We do need to pull the military out. Hell just fly hundreds of Drones around the country picking off the terrorists. This is money well spent.

Job growth

Who set record for continuous growth after 2003 tax relief act (52 consecutive months)

Let's look at the numbers another way.

Chicago population during time period: 2,800,000
Iraq soldier population: 100,000

Chicago Murders: 346
Iraq War Deaths: 50 (let?s say 15% of those 379 wounded from DTB?s list died)

Chicago Murders ?per capita?: 1 for every 8000 persons
Iraq Soldier Deaths ?per capita? : 1 for every 2000 persons

One could safely assume Iraq is 4 times deadlier than Chicago.

I?d prefer neither place

Bush rode the coattails of what Clinton started. It took time for his tax cuts and wars to cripple the economy. You do realize that employment numbers are a trailing indicator don't you?

In the shadows
Tu.Illuminati asked me what crap of Ron Paul.
I answered that they hate us for our involvement in the middle east.I was stating that that was PAULS views not mine.Just to clarify. Its crap.

You flat out lied in your statement here, You cannot answer anything about Ron Pauls stance on any issue. You and your bastardization of the English language gives me a headache.

Your not off track a lot Fek except

Most your violence in Chicago is contained in less than half of georaphical area--

Deaths in Iraq for 2010 have been 36

However a point for your side you failed to mention is in Iraq most are wearing body armor and not that many in Chicago.

Being as serious as I can be--I'd take a year in Iraq over 6 months in south side of Chicago--especially in the winter. :)

deaths by months.

Glad to see this war winding down.

I'm opposite of most on the 2 wars.
Always thought Iraq was could be won as people there have reason to be free and have democracy-

Afgan--people have nothing to look forward to--no industrialization--gov serves little purpose as each tribe does his own thing. Only plus I see is our efforts across border in Pakistan-- I like job this admin has done with the drones/special forces and getting green light from pakistan.
Has been some major blow to the terrorist.:0074
