Let's look at the numbers another way.
Chicago population during time period: 2,800,000
Iraq soldier population: 100,000
Chicago Murders: 346
Iraq War Deaths: 50 (let?s say 15% of those 379 wounded from DTB?s list died)
Chicago Murders ?per capita?: 1 for every 8000 persons
Iraq Soldier Deaths ?per capita? : 1 for every 2000 persons
One could safely assume Iraq is 4 times deadlier than Chicago.
I?d prefer neither place
Your not off track a lot Fek except
Most your violence in Chicago is contained in less than half of georaphical area--
Deaths in Iraq for 2010 have been 36
However a point for your side you failed to mention is in Iraq most are wearing body armor and not that many in Chicago.
Being as serious as I can be--I'd take a year in Iraq over 6 months in south side of Chicago--especially in the winter.
deaths by months.

Glad to see this war winding down.
I'm opposite of most on the 2 wars.
Always thought Iraq was could be won as people there have reason to be free and have democracy-
Afgan--people have nothing to look forward to--no industrialization--gov serves little purpose as each tribe does his own thing. Only plus I see is our efforts across border in Pakistan-- I like job this admin has done with the drones/special forces and getting green light from pakistan.
Has been some major blow to the terrorist.:0074
