Fact of the matter Gumby passed this stimulus (1/3 social programs) in middle of the night with no input from rebs and said it was necessary to keep unemployment below 8%.

After 2 years in office unemployment near 10% and thats including all the census workers hired.

Housing report just out--it sucks even after my tax $ is being used to pay people to buy houses.

They have left interest rates at near 0 again--which give you idea how scarey they think things are.

Appears to me Dems answer to everything is throw money at it--
Auto industry--pay em to buy cars

Pay for their cobra ins
Give em 2 years unemployment

I have to disagree with you partially on your statement here. The nations (many) that have been occupied by us and Great Britain and Israel have created hostility over the years, but this has been a thorn in theri boot for centuries. No one has been able to take out Afghanistan. The Russians tried and we supplied the 'stans to help them defeat Ivan, and then bailed without any assistance in rebuilding the nation. We trained OBL, just as we trained Sadaam and Noriega, Pol Pot and many other dictators who went nuts. Why did they go nuts? I don't see much legislation passed in last 2 years towards jobs/economy--

I agree. Obama has been a total disgrace as President. That does not make the Bush years any better. Obama, for some unknown reasn gave the Republicans the power back that the voters took away from them. That is his bad. Truth is that Bush and Iraq put us in such a hole that we may never recover. The stimulus was not enough. He should of let the banks and AIG fail. Instead he gave them a second life and they are bleeding us dry again.
