EDIT: After a score with Couples at St Andrews, I've debated on this choice for a month. I saw the odds climb from 80/1 to 100/1 just this week. I played it for $2 e.w. at the start this morning. I was shocked to see it still available after an eagle on his 9th hole, and just as shocked to see all the Bet365 lines still at 1/4 for 1-2-3-4-5; with 5 places, I'd have played it at the 66/1 still on offer as I type this.

--The price seems a bit high for a capable player who is only one stroke off the lead with an early tee time tomorrow. Plus, he is 66-1 most everywhere else. For what it's worth: Owen has broke 70 four times in opening rounds this year in PGA events and finished in the top 4 in two of those tournaments, his only Top 5s this year.

Also thought of Immelman and Ames for wagers after today's rounds, but the prices are too low now. Some real value with the players who shot 69, 70 and 71 as I really believe they are all in it, but I'll wait and see what happens. Depending on wind and weather, they could go lower tomorrow. A lot of bad putting today. They'll make proper adjustments tomorrow.

Can't believe the absence of stats on this tourney??? Considering no prior current form on course or current stats makes props next to impossible.As Apollo aluded to putting was horrendous-probably due to not cutting greens down till wednesday night--rough very penal around greens--lots of players will be eating their words on projected final scores as well as myself--72 hole props in serious jeopardy--quite upset with myself for falling for pre-tourney reports--fairways and greens MUCH firmer than reported and will get faster.

I've looked all over for stats too -- golf channel advertised that they hady them, but I couldn't find them either.

I am also a little upset that I pay a small fee for PGA TourCast every month, and I can't any of the majors on in because they don't do for those tourneys.
