Third Round 2-ball

Third Round 2-ball

Zach Johnson -150 over Ben Curtis @ sportingbet (Ties lose)
--Debated the best way to play this all morning, but Curtis, IMO, got hot on Thursday and Friday was a more accurate indicator of how he'll play the weekend. The distribution of scores this morning probably means the -1/2 stroke is more expensive than normal, but I am comfortable laying it here.

Good luck.

4th rd props
Z Johnsom +110 over Poulter (-1/2)
Furyk/Poulter -125 over 5 1/2 birdies

These birdie props are coin-flips-Split yesterday as Mick/Perry fail with neither birdieing a par 5 and Mick getting 1 birdie after 12 1st 2 days. Interesting event to watch but tough one to wager.

ok, gonna be a couch day watching the last round so decided to make a few plays.

i have a feeling about appleby so took

appleby to win +1600 for $100
appleby over westwood -125 3 units
appleby over love +115 3 units

i am only funded at cris currently so had to take their offers. i know i had better choices but didn't feel like fooling with it.

good luck, folks!

despite giving murphy chance to double me on same player gotta oppose Poulter one more time--
C Campbell -110 over Poulter (ties lose)

Lots of savvy Euro books have this line and on paper is huge mismatch.

Campell is 13-2 last 15 vs him
total driving 41 vs 141
Gir 11th vs 166th
200 yards and over 6th vs 82nd
final rd scoring 32nd vs 175th

--but you know what happens when things look too good

I like to watch. It's the foundation for building every wager I've ever made, more or less.

Stronger and sharper in their golf . . . Nothing askew in these matchups in the variables and intangibles on their respective plates at this moment . . . And very well priced to boot.

Outright 1/4 1-2-3
(Total stake 2 points)
Jason Bohn 66-1 e.w. @ Sportingbet
-- I have a couple outside chances with Retief and Owen, so I figure I'll add one more. I like the price here and the fact that has played well in the final round before, though this is a major and the pressure will be ratcheted up if he plays himself in contention on the back nine. The one intangible that made me make the play was the fact he is priced the same as Ben Curtis (who I promptly faded yesterday and paid the price).

Good luck. Should be a great final round with 13 players who have a shot to win this.

Taking Appleby over Bjorn in matchup at -130.
Going back to the well on Goosen over Love -120 as he missed by only a stroke yesterday with Love's strong finish.

Playing Appleby for larger wager. No offense, Thomas but I hope the demons get into your head like maggots on 10-day old meat.

Been away from Internet access for awhile.....figured I would add something on day four. Should be an incredible day with Phil and Davis in the last pairing. Will take a shot on a longshot and hope he can get in the mix.

Owen 49-1 WSEX interactive market

after the rain delay elkington is only 1 shot back and my book has him at 25-1 to win it all. This seems like good value given that he is only 1 shot back with only a few holes to play. what do you guys think?

It's an old line. He was 25-1 at the start of the 4th round.

(I am watching it closely as I have backed him about 4 times this year and didnt have a dime this time around....bloody typical)
