KC, I cannot imagine what you folks are going through. I can only hope things work out and you and your family remain safe.

It is difficult because the laws are so protective of kids: this can be good because it gives kids who make a mistake a chance to repair their lives but can also be bad if the kid continues on a course of criminal activity. As it becomes a personal issue it becomes very difficult to underastand why the courts let these little bastards roam the streets.

I will keep you and family in my prayers. Be safe, be vigilant and be prepared: you cannot just rely on the police.

Update:

My wife has gone in for meetings at the school. The meetings with the agency involved will happen Monday.

The good news: Unless followed home, the police feel there is no "danger" at home. No reported peculiar activities last night.

My wife also counsels some of these helpless kids on Saturdays. She has been with this kid at his house 2 times, unknowing of the potential danger. That too is good news knowing nothing happened.

Trying to stay positive. I write this with tears of joy for the wonderful support you all have given our family. Su says say hi to everyone and thanks, also.

In closing, snoozing hit the nail on the head. We all must face reality dead on. At the moment, there sure looks like there is little help out there.

I wanted to blast the police, feeling they might not follow through in my previous post.

My wife just left the school and called.

The police were everywhere and EVERYONE at the school was very aware of the situation.

But the kid is still at home. Go figure?

i really feel for you man.A buddy of mine's wife was in a similar situation.The one thing that was amazing to see though was how the other students in the "TROUBLED TEENS" program that she taught were very supportive and protective of her when this was happening.I just hope that the school does not take this lightly.MY wife is also a teacher so i really feel for you.All the hard work your wife does and some little sociopath is making all your lives miserable.I am so sorry for you and your family.I will pray for you and your family that this gets resolved and quickly.TAKE CARE MY FRIEND
