wow.... great day so far. I played every match BUT Baddeley since my book didn't post a number and so far I've managed to lose ALL FOUR!

I tailed the picks I saw in this forum, noboby in particular, more of a consensus I guess and somehow I've managed to lose every match. I need some karma, so I'm posting my remaining plays in hopes that something turns around.

Casey over Choi
Appleby over Leonard
Pampling over Singh

I need some love as I'm not winning any of these as I type this, but all are close. I'll take 2-5 or 3-4 but please God don't let me lose em all!! No way to start the weekend... :nono:

...went 2-3 today for a loss of 1.33 units.

...6-8 so far this week for a loss of 2.35 units.

Not my best week but 2 days left to get back on the plus side! Fading Tiger almost paid off - twice!!

Good Luck and enjoy the weekend everyone!!

I haven't posted much here but I like to see what others are thinking and have to say. These weren't posted but my buddy & I are tag-teaming and have had a good week so far. 3-2 Wed including Byrd as a dog. 7-2-1 Thu including Weekley and Appleby as dogs and Woods was the closest thing I've ever considered a lock. Badds was called no action against Toms (which is where I get the 1 'push'). 3-1 Fri.

Who does everyone like Sat?
I like Cabrera over Cink. Cink's not quite on his game and could have lost today if Monty had made more birdies. Cabrera will make some.
Leonard over Singh. Singh's struggled to beat lower-seeded players in each of the first 3 matches and was lucky to get out with a win today. Leonard's playing solid.
Austin over Stenson. Austin's a crazy man and a good match player. Stenson's needed 18, 25, & 18 holes to win his matches. Didn't think he'd make it today after Thursday's marathon and think he's probably done.
Choi over Woods. Tiger is Tiger and he's the best, but Choi is playing well right now and will take a shot at +275 or so.

Potential afternoon matchups:
I'd want to see how the morning matches go, but I'd lean to:
Choi over Austin or Stenson- Choi's playing better right now
Austin or Stenson over Woods - anticipating good odds on either a player that won't be scared of Woods (Austin) or a really good player playing pretty well (Stenson)
Leonard over Cabrera or Cink - Leonard is a consistent ball-striker and is making putts
Cabrera over Singh - Singh's begging to get beat
Singh over Cink - so is Cink

Quarter-final play (1pt)

Henrik Stenson to beat Woody Austin -143 @ Unibet
He may have been extremely fortunate to beat Immelman in the 2nd round when he again faltered in the back nine and started to pull his irons, but his putting touch never left him and that was also shown yesterday when he beat the widely-tipped Byrd and shot 6-under-par in the process. According to the commentators, he has yet to miss a putt inside 5-feet and that makes the "Ice Man" the perfect matchplayer. He should make it to the semi-finals

Still undecided about the Cabrera-Cink match, so may post one more closer to the tee-time.

Tiger -400 to win to beat Cink.

Disgusted, disappointed, a few other dis words is basically how i feel this week. I tried to post like 50 plays this week in hopes of making a nice run and it looks to be about .500 on the week.. Just extremely irritated that the plays didn't come in the way i expected. G Luck with whatever you decide.

Props to tindall..
Expekt have Stewart Cink at a massive 125/1 in their win only market and, equally invitingly, at 25/1 in the place market which pays out on the first four.

Getting 25/1 about him reaching the semis looks good business.

Cink has already shown some fine form this season by finishing third in the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines.

But it's his ability to shine in the matchplay format which gets him into the staking plan.

In the 2006 Ryder Cup, Cink went five up on Sergio Garcia after just seven holes, leaving the bemused Spaniard to reflect, "I've never seen anything like it."

Garcia had won all his previous four matches at the K Club that year but Cink simply blew him away.

Cink was at it again in the 2007 Presidents Cup when he birdied his first five holes in his singles clash against O'Hern. He eventually took him out 6&4 to secure the trophy.

The Snead Bracket, on paper I hasten to add, looks the weakest of the four quarters (it's in the opposite half to Woods for a start!) so Cink, who made the last 16 here last year, certainly appears to offer a spot of value.

Cink's conqueror 12 months ago was Stephen Ames and the pair are set to lock horns in the third round again.
The week before he brought the goods with
Further down the betting, former US Amateur champ Jeff Quinney looks an interesting proposition.

Last year, he took the West Coast Swing by storm with a run of 4-7-3-9 from Bob Hope to Nissan and, without quite hitting the same heights, he's impressed again this year.

He was 29th at Torrey Pines after starting Sunday in tied eighth, closed with a 66 to finish tied 17th in Phoenix and was left to rue a final round quadruple bogey nine on the 14th at Pebble Beach last week which turned a top five into a tied 24th.

But Quinney has dropped enough hints to suggest that he's close to putting it all together.

Last year's ninth place comprised rounds of 70-70-67-69 and if he can find that consistency again the 100/1 could look massive.
Really impressive

Final play (1pt):

Stewart Cink to beat Tiger Woods [+3.5 holes handicap] -110 @ The Greek
I'm not confident enough to back Cink to win outright, but I do think that he will provide another stern test to Tiger, who could easily have lost in the 1st round to J.B. Holmes and in the 3rd round to Aaron Baddeley. Tiger has not blown away any of his other opponents and in his three final appearances in this event, he lost 4&3 to Darren Clarke in 2000, won 2&1 against David Toms in 2002 and won 3&2 against Davis Love in 2003. With the same handicap, it would have been a winning wager on the opponent every time. Scoring-wise, there is no difference between these two players against par this week, so unless Cink freezes under the pressure of playing against Tiger, I can't see this being a blowout
