I will update record after UFC 93...........

Andrei Arlovski beat Fedor Emelianenko $4.20 *1 Joe Rogan

Looks like more and more people are putting money on Andrei, so I wanted to get on this now before odds get even worse. Look up "live dog" in the dictionary and you will see a picture of Arlovski. Massive odds yes, but he has got a great shot at beating Fedor. And yes many think that Arlovski sucks on the ground. Yes, obviously Fedor has the advantage on the ground, but like most say "if it goes to the ground Andrei is done". That is not totally true. Sure Arlovski wants to keep it standing, but it is not a guarantee that he'll lose if it goes to the mat. If Arlovski fights like he did last time in Affliction........he can beat Fedor. The price is amazing if ya ask me...ruff ruff ruff :mj23:

unlike sylvia,arlovski is an athletic big man...."big" man...supposedly 4" taller than fedor....and 240....

honestly...after watching arlovski,i don`t know why he doesn`t dominate....i guess it`s the chin...and the tendency to get careless....

the 2 losses to sylvia are unforgivable...

this guy should be an absolute elite fighter...i grabbed him at 3 and a quarter back on 12/16...

if anybody`s beating fedor, why not arlovski?...

i think the key is not getting involved in those mad scrambles that fedor seems to impose on everybody...arlovski has to stay calm and keep distance...

I think that KO in 2nd Sylvia fight did something to him. After that fight he looked to me like he is holding back a lot.
Hopefully he resolved this mental part, because he looked better in last fight.
I agree, at his best he should be dominant.

He stunk in his fight with Affliction when it went to the ground. Nice to see u take the leadership role and start the music once again. this side job u have with GSP is really taking a toll on ur posting.

His fight against the fat farmer boy wasn't that great....but when Arlovski fought Ben Rothwell he looked amazing.

Im making a small play on Belfort.. Lindland didnt impress me at all last time out, plus he was busy running for congress for a while. :142smilie

Belfort, on the other hand, is training his ass off at Xtreme Couture and fits great at 185. I give him the advantage both standing and on the ground.. he can be broken, but I dont think that will be a problem versus Lindland. I picked Vitor up at +155 a week ago.

Oh and no chance Fedor loses to Arlovski. Rothwell is an out-of-shape scrub.. think Rothwell times about 15 and then you have a FEDOR. Arlovski will be overwhelmed no matter where the fight goes.

Arlovski is, but then isn't a great matchup for Fedor.

Arlovski, who I've been a fan of for a long time, just doesn't have the chin. Sylvia has a better chin and look what happened to him.

I say he is because he's a better striker than Sylvia, and probably the best striker that Fedor has faced.

The longer the fight goes, the worse off Arlovski is.

You are thinking about his fight for EliteXC against Roy Nelson.

Rothwell isn't the fat ass you were thinking about.

nah i remeber the Nelson fight. The Rothwell fight was a pretty good one and swore it went to the ground once.

arlvoski's proven himself to be a dumb fighter.

an example of being dumb is when a guy does the same the move after being shown that that move is worthless. arlovski had top position on rothwell and went for an ankle lock. rothwell defended the sub and took top position. arlovski should have clued in that doing it again would be stupid, but he didn't. he went for it again with the same results.

he's also failed to take advantage of opportunities, such as the 2nd fight with sylvia.

moreover once he meets resisitance he confidence waivers.

i doubt i'll be betting on the fight, but i think fedor's confidence and intelligence will make a big difference.

muhr I agree with ya...Arlovski not the smartest fighter out there. But I have to say, if Arlovski can hang with Fedor in the beginning he has a good shot at beating him. As for the Arlovski chin, it ain't a bad chin...that boy can take some shots.

And I agree with the Lindland comments.....Lindland and Barnett fall under the "I am over-rated because of my name" category. Lindland just ain't that good. Top 5...please. As for Barnett......umm I am sorry no way he's top 5 either.

Next to the Fedor fight....looking forward to this one:scared
Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou

If this Fedor fight was a pickem you would be all over Fedor and stop making excuse after excuse for Arloski and a Arloski win :142smilie It is widely know that Eddie Alvarez is helping Arloski with his gameplan.:SIB

Interesting that the odds are getting closer in the Sokoudjou-Babalu fight

I would have thought with Sokoudjou's last performance, the lean would be toward Sobral

I know some of us made some money on Cane last fight....I may go against the African again

have to think it over, but I will probably play Babalu
