Maybe it's just me but I find Chris Fowler to be an amazingly awful play by play announcer. Gets calls and yardage wrong a game but his tone is bad as well.
He may have been one of the best pregame hosts ever on gameday (rece Davis isn't a very good replacement) but as a play by play guy.....blah.

Foster was the #1 rated LB coming out of HS.
Saban has built a juggernaut and has 6 top ranked recruiting classes in a row. He wins because he's a great coach but also because they have the best players every single year.

Saban is amazing coach....but even he would struggle to win 6 games average a year with northwestern talent and roster
You are correct he gets the best athletes every year ...combine that with his ability to coach em up and you get 5 national titles and looking like 6 ....
Can't blame the kids for wanting to go there..I'd want to play in title games every year
Part of me thinks I'd want to go to clemson or Auburn and be the leader of the group to knock them off, but gotta be hard to tell saban no when he's sporting all the hardware he does
