The line opened up Alabama -3.5 I know the Tide is coming off an impressive road win against the Razorbacks, but does that line look great to anyone else? Georgia, ranked 6th in the nation getting points just sounds great and I look for the line to move very quickly. Georgia is a great team, I'm not sure if they are a proven top team in the neat, BUT they should win outright over Bama.

Georgia +3.5, get it early and enjoy it come Saturday afternoon.

The question you have to ask yourself is:

Do those who vote for the polls know more than Vegas? If so, then the line certainly looks great for those who side with Georgia. If not, then maybe Georgia just isn't as good as their ranking and Vegas knows this. . . thus a reasonable dog against a good Alabama team.

I still have to look into this game. . . as part of my new system I've decided to stay away from high profile games, but will make an exception from time to time. Personally, I think this is a great spot for Georgia as Alabama beat a questionable Arkansas team that had good wins but not against great opponents. So the question left is just how good is Alabama?

Bias I may be!!

Bias I may be!!

Bias I may be.....None the less, The Tide is Rollin right now!!! I havent seen this kind of energy and excitement in this town since '99. I know Georgia is good but they better be damn good come saturday because this place is gonna be out of control!! Be careful betting on this game. Theres no telling whats gonna happen. Bama's D Line is unbelievable and their running game is extremely powerful too. If Brodie Croyle can tame that cannon of an arm and get in a groove, I dont think Georgia has a chance.

ROLL TIDE!!!

Anyone know th Over/Under on Bama/GA game??

Bama shut down Oklahoma in 2nd half, and are now ranked way up in rushing D. Shut down Arkansas, and I played Tide and Under in a couple of Parlays there...

What makes this year any different for the Dawgs? Every year we hear, Georgia is gonna be good this year. Then they get beat by TN, UF, someone in the SEC. In the end, UGA never pans out to be a great team. This line is moving to -4 in some places...

i agree with BROKER's assessment... Alabama at home is a tough chore for any good team... and Bama has proven (at least to me) they can win with their back-up QB.

This will be a great SEC Battle but i see Alabama winning late in the 4th quarter..

After seeing Georgia play Clemson and South Carolina--I have to say that this team is NOT a top-10 team. Turnovers and special teams gave the Dawgs both games. David Greene has not been near as sharp as he was last year. Alabama is playing this season with nothing to lose and I see them beating Georgia by 10. For what its worth! :)

Just to go ahead and let anyone know:
Georgia is by far the most overrated team in the NCAA. I could think of probably 25 teams that deserve to be in the #6 spot. Georgia has played no teams worth a shit, and the almost got beat by lowly clemson and lowly south carolina. The tide are 4-1 and should be 5-0. They definitely have a better team than oklahoma and will prevail this weekend. If you think that uga can just waltz into t-town and beat the tide straight up at night with no problem, you've got another thing coming. There's a reason why the tide is giving uga points. Think about it.

I bet both Clemson and SC vs GA. and from I saw I certainly wasnt overwhelmed, esp. in game vs Holtz ...

Bama seems to have some swoosh in their sails, their RBs run friggin hard, & SMISS was limited to ZILCH ... beating Pigs in their sty is always a feather ...

why anyone sees GA. as some near-lock is beyond me ...

If i bet this game, it will be TIDE

This is a good Bama team, that is playing well over the past weeks. It is tough to go on the road at Arkansas, and they did it beating the hogs very convincingly. The line looks right to me, I probably won't bet on it but I would not bet against the Tide!!

I've been going to most of the games this year and it is safe to say that my team is overrated. This is great for my team but bad for betting. Green is looking ok but I really prefer Shockley who is out with a broken foot. I need to check on his status. Musa has a great running game but I don't know how it will hold up against a stronge bama D. For a win, I think GA will have to put the ball in air. As of right now my hopes are with the Dawgs but I just can't justify a bet on them right now. I will try to do some research and post more later.

Go Dawgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:spotting: :spotting: :spotting:

Bama is a LOCK

Bama is a LOCK

Bama is up for this game. Georgia is good but way overrated. Bama whipped OK all over the field and Arkansas found out how good we were in the trenches. Best D line outside of Coral Gables. This game is all Bama. Watts will play.

Alabama #2 in SEC in total offence
Alabama #2 in SEC in total defense
Georgia last in SEC in total offence

Alabama held #2 in country Oklahoma to less than 10 yards rushing plus should have won game for late turnover. Would be 5-0 and top five team

Georgia very unimpressive in wins so far

Why is line only 3-?????

Well, it seems NO ONE agrees with me, and most of you think I am a dumbass for liking the dawgs at all. Well, I think this looks great to me - EVERYONE on Bama, I'll take the Bulldogs and go against the public.

No hard feelings though, I was looking for some response and that is what this forum is all about. Thanks to all who gave opinion, and keep them coming. This is a great forum, where we all get to give our opinions on the games. Sometimes, there is a little pride that gets invovled, but hey its all part of the fun.

My thoughts on the game:
Georgia has not proved themselves all year, they opened up the year a little slow with close wins over Clemson and South Carolina, before playing weak teams for the past two weeks and handling them easily. In sense, they have had three weeks to get ready for this game (not having to really worry about Northwestern St or New Mexico St) and should be well prepared. As well stated, Georgia has high expectations every year and falls short. This is there chance to actually prove themselves, and I look for them to be ready for this game and make a statement that they aren't quite so overrated. Coming in as an underdog will be great motivation for them. Don't get me wrong, Alabama looks very impressive and this game won't be easy, but I think Georgia has a WHOLE lot to play for, and will be able to pull out a victory.

Good Luck to All on Saturday.

Say what? Clemson is a top-15 team. Georgia's win over Clemson is the best win either team has this year.

The Tide should pull this one out, but let's not forget about Gallaway. He's an asset to the team, strong runner. Lane just might play according to my sources. He and the coaches have been talking about it. We need his leg and his running ability. He's an all out good football player too. Croyle I'm not so worried about unless he gets shaken by hits. Playing in T-town has its advantages. Definitely look for a battle between the two. That's my opinion.

I will be heading to this game on Friday if anyone would like to meet. Obviously everyone knows who I will be pulling for, and I like the public all over Alabama here. It's going to be a hard fougth battle that is decided in the final minutes. Definite no play for me.

We will be hanging out at Baumhauer's Wings & Sports Bar (Not sure this is exactly right) becuase we know some people there.

djchad--we have beaten TN the last two years!:p
