What are the short and long term side affects???
To not get too technical on you all, it is designed to preserve the whole sleep cycle which should mean you wake fully rested. I think there is another out there similar, as I am selling iv pharmaceuticals now in hospitals so I dont recall the name, but most sleep agents are designed to just put you to sleep, not keep you from waking up once it wears off.
At the time I sold it was the only agent listed as a non benzodiazipine, meaning it doesnt have the addictive physical properties to it to create dependence. But, in my opinion anything can be addictive.
Short term problems, grogginess maybe in morning, some of people I know that have taken it mentioned it, I didnt see it myself. I felt like I could run a marathon.
It is designed also to provide 8 hours of sleep, it worked to that for me to perfection, so if you cant get 8 hours of sleep dont take it. Also, it works immediately, you should be out within 30 minutes so dont take it until you are ready for bed.
Long term, and even I mentioned it not being addictive, it can be, so can a bottle of wine or a few drinks or anything one does to fall asleep. One has to ask themselves, what is a good nights sleep worth to you?
It is expensive all things compared for sleep agents, most insurances will want you to try generic first, and I am not sure when it goes generic it might be now for all I know. It was like >$3 per pill back in late 90's early 2000's.
Lastly, you will be out, a hurricane could have hit I wouldnt have known it.
