Ambien

I took my last one 15 months ago. I took one before bed and didn't really sleep that good, left for work at 4 am for a 52 mile commute and at 4:06am I guess it started to kick in. I ran head first into a telephone pole and totaled my car. Luckily I had my seat belt on.
Now I take Advil PM and havn't had any issues. The Ambien gave me migranes and I alwalys felt drowsy. I hear bad stories about this all the time. Charlie Sheen calls it the devil's aspirn. I agree.:scared

Anyone saying bad things about this drug i would take very seriously. People do some strange things on this drug. LIke cooking and not realizing it. Having sex and not remembering it. This drug is dangerous but man if u are constantly flipping in ur bed because of something like sore shoulders, this drug will keep ya down and u will finally get that rest u crave. These stories about people driving and not remembering are not bullshit stories.

Sponge is right about not remembering. I know 1 woman who takes it and never remembers having sex with her husband (her husband tells her it's awesome sex and she's a wildcat). I have another female friend who took it and her husband essentially had his way with her when she passed out. Classy, huh? It's like it's a prescription date rape drug or something. I hate Ambien, but I know too that insomnia will drive u crazy!!

I sold Ambien for 3 years with Sanofi-aventis...

this is a common mistake...

unless you went to bed at 8 pm, then you had some in your system at 4am,

you MUST dedicate 8 hours to sleep...

as a poster mentioned earlier, keep it on your nightstand with water, and take 20 min before you are ready to sleep....PERIOD...



I took ambien for a couple of years when I needed sleep, never a problem..

IMO, i don't like the exteneded release, I prefer the original...
