Mousasi made 2k.........plus about another 100k....at least.

I just love posting these "salaries", so Sponge can go nuts:mj07:

MMA fighters should get paid more but I assure you Mousasi made a tad more then 2k....ummm a tad.

And ummmm Gina made way more then 125 K...way more.

Can't wait for Sponge to go on his rant:tongue

Plus remember Mousasi still has those two fights in the "DREAM STEROID TOURNEY" and we all know how corrupt DREAM is so maybe Mousasi only made 2 k after the corrupt DREAM came in and took "their take":mj07:

Gegard Mousasi, who defeated Sobral, earned an eye-catching event-low $2,000 official salary. It's important to note that the salary figures from the commission do not include any undisclosed bonuses paid by the organization. Additionally, little is known about the contract for Mousasi, who is also under contract to M-1 Global.

Hope Dana doesn't try to sell this as the main event.

Tito Ortiz vs. Mark Coleman ?Confirmed? For UFC 106 on November 21
Posted by Kris Karkoski on Aug 18, 2009 at 7:01 pm ET16 Comments

Tito OrtizTito Ortiz?s return to the Octagon against Mark Coleman will co-headline UFC 106 on November 21 in Las Vegas, according to Mike DiSabato of MMA Authentics, a sponsor of Coleman?s, who tweeted confirmation of the light heavyweight bout on Tuesday.

After completing his UFC contract last July in a loss to Lyoto Machida, Ortiz (15-6-1) considered offers with EliteXC, Strikeforce, and Affliction but ultimately mended his relationship with UFC President Dana White and re-signed with the promotion. ?The Huntington Beach Bad Boy? has not won since an October 2006 victory over Ken Shamrock, suffering losses to Chuck Liddell and Machida as well as a draw to Rashad Evans following the win.

Coleman (16-9), a former heavyweight who was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame last year, suffered a third-round TKO to Mauricio ?Shogun? Rua in his return to the UFC earlier this year, but bounced back with a unanimous decision over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 last month.

You really have to wonder what the hell Coleman has on Dana. I don't care if they want to use him as a stepping stone for people on undercards but there's no way he should be shown on tv.

I normally would agree, but Coleman has been very game in his last two fights.
Beating Bonnar and giving Shogun a good fight.
I think it is fair to put him on the main card as long as there is at least 1 if not 2 better fights on the card.

I agree Keg. I think Coleman did much better the second fight after taking training a little more seriously and coming off his 2nd cut to 205. Just feel like Dana has to have a co main event with this one like u do.

bonnar should be expunged from the ufc....a young guy with decent stand-up allowing himself to be taken down time and again by this one note/emppty tanked fossil is an utter disgrace.....

he`s no longer relevant...

if dana were fair, bonnar would be on the chopping block....

Bonnar will never get cut, his fight with Forrest pretty much saved the UFC. Dana himself said if it were not for that fight the UFC very well could have died. Hard to cut a guy who saved the UFC:shrug:

dana can say anything he wants....and he does anything damn thing he wants...the ufc wasn`t "dying"...that`s utter bullshit.......the t.v. show was a hit...one fight didn`t make non-ufc fans suddenly ufc maniacs...

bonnar`s a stiff...who does he fight next?....who can they find to fight him?...maybe alessio sakara(oh boy)?....

he`s king of the cage material....

Weasel maybe u ought to jump in there and see if u can stop one of Colemans takedowns. We are talking about a guy who was in the Olympics. And for what it is worth Coleman did have a little stamina this time around.

20 years ago,i bet i stand an excellent chance of knocking that old f-ck out...;)....this ain`t the olympics...the guy`s gassed by the end of round one...

bonnar apparently has 2 neurons in his brain working(and one makes him breathe)....all coleman can do is take him down and lay on him...

after the first round you figure the lightbulb goes on.....but not with bonnar...:banghead:

MMA Payout details the economic issues currently facing UFC 102.

Basically the UFC raised ticket prices as a result of Oregon's higher event tax rate of 12% (6% for OSAC and 6% for City of Portland). The higher ticket prices coupled with the bad regional economy means that the UFC has only been able to sell 9,000 tickets for a stadium that fits 20,000.

Perhaps this is why Ed Herman's fight was moved back to the 102 card. A local fighter should be able to garner some extra ticket sales.

Read the entire piece at MMA Payout.
