I LOVEEEEEEEE 6th street but I swear I've seen more fights there than anywhere else I've ever been.

I still love going though. :mj07:

Roger did the right thing but the pic of him stomping on the guy once he's down might be too much.

You knock out a women, you deserve a head stomp.:box2:

(also not 100 percent sure that was Huerta doing the head stomp)

Not sure.
Really????

Look at the still photo. Not sure many other guys are wandering around on 6th St with a shirt off and a tat like his.

Good thing he took off his shirt first (actually, the other guy did, too). Those cumbersome shirts always get in the way when you're fighting. Machismo at its finest right there. :142smilie

I'm not going to criticize the guy too much though; glad he put a beating on that dude. Not only did that dude hit a chick he probably outweighed by well over 100 pounds, it was a sucker punch. Man, what a badass.

"the bunker"
tough one to prove in court.....photo blurry and the video was a mess....

but,i think if it could be proven it was him, the fact that he`s actually a professional fighter might land him in some serious trouble....the guy was down and the law frowns on disproportionate use of force....

i knew so many black dudes growing up that never gave a second thought to beating a woman...it`s just a different culture...

Typical Saturday in Austin I tell ya.

How is Austin? I've always heard it's a cool town and that it's not really a typical Texas city, whatever that means. I also hear it's one of the better cities in the country as far as live music goes. Thoughts?

Yeah, I was going to ban myself after that post but I knew you would get to it sooner or later. Nothing gets by those vigilant Canucks. :SIB

:nono: :nono: :nono:

Austin is MMA News since UFC Fight Night will be held in Austin next month.
Info on things to do in Austin could be informative for MMA fans thinking of going to Austin for it.

Austin is a nice live music town and apparently the occasional UFC fighters put on a free exhibition on the streets. :142smilie

Plenty of grunge type music. The University has been and always will be the center point of the city so that is how it is different from the other major cities.

And just to please Kickserv I will throw this in to keep it on news since some will be in Austin for an upcoming UFC event.

Well played, Kegray. ;) I usually bite the bullet and just ban myself, but I like your method much better. :142smilie

And to keep this on-topic -- this just in... Brock Lesnar is an enormous douchebag. That's right, ENORMOUS douchebag. This is no run-of-the-mill douchebag, this is a douchebag of EPIC proportions. Not exactly 'news,' but maybe some people don't realize that yet?

How the fuk are they helping that piece of shit back to his feet? Is there a Huerta defense fund? If anyone finds out let me know. Got the check ready to go.
