Well I was going to say this when I saw the video but didn't want to come off as somewhat racist, but will say it now.
When I saw Huerta about to throw down with a black guy on 6th Street in Austin, I was about to ask which Longhorn football player(past or present) is it?
Fact is Austin is one of the whitest towns you will ever see outside of athletes.
It has been and still is that way.

There was an article on Dana White in this past week edition of Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter (check it out. Meltzer is the best MMA Journalist out there) . The article focused on a reporter for the Boston Globe spending time with White at the end of May but also include other info.
From the article:
White would often play high stakes poker. When with the reporter he played $25k in his first hand and won but 45 minutes later had lost half-million dollars like it was nothing. Apparently he has won and lost a million many times. White also often tips $100-$300 bucks for pizza delivery guys and the people who press the buttons on elevators
Compared White to Vince Mcmahon in his early 40's back in the 80's and how there business models were very similar. However White is more natural as a people's person compared to Mcmahon.
The story also went in to details the promotion that White does for the company. For example the first Rua/Machida fight was not doing well in terms of sales and then up stepped White and took charge. Instead of giving tickets to the radio stations he went on a campaign and personally gave out 3500 tickets for that event. It helps bond the owners with the fans.
The article also when into detail on the importance of White, Lorenzo Fertittas and Joe Silva. Other people with money have tried and failed to follow the Zuffa train and failed. Calvin Ayre and Mark Cuban - both have more money and but have found MMA to be nothing apart from a hole to throw money into.
The article also tells how White built a huge pool that looked like it belongs at a Disney resort. The Homeowners Board told him it violated standards and to take it down and simply pays the $2500 monthly fine. Now that is having money to burn!
