A couple things...........first off:


Make sure you check the rules at the book you place the wager with...........some books say as soon as one point is played the match is valid.........on the other hand.....some books say that ONE set must be completed for bet to stand


So make sure ya check rules before ya bet...........you can ask madjack for my e-mail and I'll give ya a list of good books for tennis betting.......hey e-mail me anyway....always love getting e-mail from fellow Canadian tennis bettors:canada1 :canada1

2nd thing..........


Best place to find start times is at http://www.ausopen.org/en_AU/scores/schedule/index.html

now here's the trick........most matches don't have a specific start time.....they are usually on a "to be followed by basis". For example the first match on court 21 on day 2 is Albert Montanes vs. Mariano Puerta......that match will start at 6pm EST but the next match will go on court approx 15 minutes after the conclusion the Puerta/Montanes match..........it could be 9pm, 10pm, 11pm or maybe midnight........all depends on how long the Puerta/Montanes match lasts? And then there's another match after that...then another one after that.......ya see what I mean


Hope that helps..........worth noting that some sportsbooks just use a general cutoff time for the 2nd/3rd and 4th matches of the day.......for example they know that the Puerta match will begin at 6pm EST, then for match 2 they may post 7pm, then match 3 8pm.......ya see what I mean......just depends on the sportsbook

And worth noting that my unit wagers are done on a "unit profit" basis.

Meaning PROFIT.......so when I place 500 units on a match at odds of $1.38 and I win I MADE 190 units (500x1.38=690)......and if I make a 500 unit play and lose I LOST 500 units.
