Triplett 66/1 Sportingodds. Massive price that didn't last long. 3 top tens in his last 5 events.

It's like the Super Bowl - no bet is not an option. I don't expect to find a better price than this after the buzz from any practice rounds or the pro-am, and I don't think any of the few matchups or propositions on specific scores I had available to me offered any better value. Will likely add a little breakdown before Thursday. These guys are good.

Great odds for fellow who ranked in top 5 of players with best place (top 5) break even odds last year at 4.8 with 6 top 5's. Granted this years form not as good but has one top 5 to credit and 2 top 5's on this course which keys on accurracy not length.

I am thinking that 74 would be excellent score for annika considering the lpga was played here in 91 with course playing 71 (add a stroke) instead of 72 and played bout 750 yards shorter with softer greens (I hope) and avemeg scor was 76+ with only mallon busting par @ 1 under. Tack on the added pressure.

Weather update here from Fort Worth. Work at a near by country club about seven miles from Colonial or so. Rained hard on Tuesday. From early in the morning to after lunch or so. The golf course will not play as fast as it had been playing. Would be real suprised if she makes the cut. Golf course will play harder for her wet than it would dry and fast. One player I will be interested in watching this week is Jeff Sluman. Last week at the Nelson I had the chance to fore caddie in his group on wed through the North Texas PGA. He struck the ball real well , but did not find the touch with his putter. I was not suprised to see him leading after day one. Colonial should set up good for Jeff and he is excited to be playing well. Forecast for the rest of the week calls for a chance for rain and thunderstorms. Well keep you posted on any other weather or local news. Good Luck Guys. Always love reading the post on this forum.

had a chance to play this course a few years back and remember the small greens and necessity to be able to drive it in fairway
guess that works on all courses

2:45 and it is still raining. One of those days where it just rains steady all day.
Friend of mine followed Sorenstam in her pro am today for nine holes. She birded one , six, and nine and the rest were all pars. Said she was hitting it good, but was hitting a lot of seven woods.
Still not sure if she has a chance. Will keep weather updates comming.

Scrub you are right got some bad info. She did birdie one but played the front nine one over. Sorry for the mis info will wait longer to post next time .
Agree price for her to make the cut is too short - but Bluesq go 4/1 for her to beat Wilson and Barber. Her stats look at least as good as these guys.

Here is what I posed at Big Lous place:
Once the rain started it never stopped. The Pro-Am was called around 4:00. Annika finished 10 and she was 1 over. I watched her, along with 3,000 of her closest friends, play 1-6. She made par at one, lipped out at 2 made par, par at 3(damn good par), chipped in at 4 for birdie (short of green, par 3 playing 240 today), gave it right back at 5. Couldn't get up and down from the bunker. Stuck it within 5 feet at 6. Missed it but did hit the hole. Tried to watch her tee off at 7, couldn't. The crowd was unreal, Tiger had one like this but it was during the tourney.
Right now, I'm thinking she will shoot under 75.5 and maybe make the cut. Under 75.5 will not get her the cut but, Hey I'm ahead, so it's time to double down. By no means will this be any more than .50. Just want to watch, it will be like being at the horse races, only there's only one filly.
There were a lot of wet t-shirts and the margaritas were good. Today was for fun, tomorrow it's for real. No more rain, please.
I took the under 60/50 and what the hell, she makes it 50/150.
