USA or Draw and Ov 1.5 -126

Berhalter came through. I like the lineup and love the fact that they have strong players on the bench if this lineup does not work out. I think the US is the better team, but making this the primary play to be a little conservative. I also think they will be in trouble if they do not win this game and serious trouble if they do not at least get a draw.

Will also use USA +150 in a couple parlays with the larger favorites I like.

Will note that I have serious concerns about the officiating in this game. Just like the national team, the Qatar refs have no business being here also. Would not be surprised at all to see them screw up this game.

Hate the result, but at least I made the right play. Just can not trust this team to play a complete game.

I have just about every game in a parlay already for tomorrow but in short, I like:

Argentina -1.5 and Argentina to nil
Denmark to win
Poland or Draw and Un 2.5

I have France in a few parlays but I simply like them to win.

Sorry, out of energy for longer write ups.

Not the greatest of starts, but treading water.

Here is what I played for tomorrow

Morocco/Croatia FH Draw
Costa Rica +2.5

There are the smaller two action plays. I think the Croatia game will look a lot like the Denmark game today. Spain is much better than Costa Rica but they rarely lose by more than 2 goals.

Germany/Japan BTTS Y
Germany and BTTS +200

Slightly bigger than first couple plays. I am expecting a lot from Germany but they still have issues in the back and I think Japan will give them problems and I expect them to score so I like the BTTS bet and options on that.

Belgium/Canada BTTS Y

This is my biggest play of the tourney so far. Canada is better than most think. They have tremendous speed that any team will struggle with so I expect an aging Belgium team to struggle with Davies and David. I definitely think Canada will score (you can go with the Ov .5 but I think Belgium scores also). I also like Canada +1.5 and BTTS Y and Ov 2.5 and will add depending on how the earlier games go. As long as Canada does not freeze on the big stage, I expect them to be very competitive in this game and give Belgium all they can handle.

Well, I put too much trust in Canada (sorry, Kick!). The missed penalty changed the whole game and of course cost me the bet. I knew they would not score after that and I made some in game bets to get most of my money back, but I know that does no one any good that followed. They played hard and dominated parts of the game, but their final third play was not very good, and at the end of the day, that is what really matters. You can have great run ups and attacks but you have to finish. The penalty kick was really poor by Davies and really screwed them. Game would have been much different if he made that kick. Should be a live and learn game for Canada because it was a game they should have gotten a result in. Will be interesting to see how they react.

But that is the world cup.

I am only making one play right now for tomorrow:

Uruguay

I like this team and have them doing well in this tournament as they can advance out of this group. South Korea has game, but I think Uruguay will be too much for them.

If this wins, I will likely have another play. Have to trim plays given results.

Canada was by far the better team, Belgium got very lucky with that win.

Canada will advance to the Round of 16's despite that loss.

Nothing like spending part of your Thanksgiving in a hospital. If you know any older people living alone, be sure to check in on them. Took a friend some food this morning and found them in bad shape. They did not want to bother anyone on the holiday!!

I have a all the FH draws in a parlay today, so you know what will probably happen in the Brazil game.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the US mad jackers!! Enjoy your day with your families.

I don't know you personally Bason , but you seem like a man of genuinely good character and integrity. Best wishes to you, and your friend.

Here is what I have for tomorrow:

Wales or Draw and Un 2.5

Action play for this game since I plan to sleep in tomorrow. Wales may look obvious to some since they may have to win to advance, but I think they will struggle in this game, so I want to have draw action. Should be a boring game so I am glad it is at 5:00 a.m.

Senegal -146

Stronger play and one I would be pounding with Mane, but I still like Senegal. Qatar is just not very talented and I expect Senegal to eventually win this one. If the FH happens to draw, I will add Senegal in the SH.

I am laying off the Dutch game. If forced to play I would be the draw and I may use it in a longer shot parlay.

USA/England Ov 2.5 -120

Larger play for me. I looked at every line imaginable for this game and I keep coming back to this given the line, so no reason to spread it around. The hype in the US for this game is ridiculous and it may end up being the most watch soccer match in the US ever. Truth is the US will be happy with a draw here, even with a Wales win, but England won't. A draw for England is a loss in the eyes of their fans. I expect this game to be faster paced than most think which should create a lot of scoring chances. It may not be how the US wants to play but I think they will be drawn into that type of game so I expect goals. I did not like how Dest defended in the opening match so I think England will try to exploit his side. I have no faith in Berhalter after what he did in the second half of the Wales game (sitting Reyna just proves what a moron he is, the man has no right coaching this team). I will be routing for the US, but I think England will win, but I am happy to stick with goals as the play.

I am also playing Ov 3.5 yellow cards in this game. South American refs love to give cards and I think the pace should create a few from the defensive end alone (this could end up an issue for the US because Ream already has one and they need him, which is ironic since he was not in the conversation to even be on the team until late).

I opened up a couple parlays with England.

I do not like what Berhalter is doing. He is not putting his most offensive lineup out there. This tells me he is more focused on beating Iran than winning this game. I believe this to be a huge mistake.

Well, I suck. I just do not understand what the hell the US was doing and I grossly misjudged England. It was just a miss and I apologize.

If I do not hit this tomorrow, I will probably take a break because I feel really good about this one:

Argentina -175 and -1 -105

I did not think much of Mexico before the start of this tournament and now I think they are in a bad spot. I also thought Argentina was over hyped and they proved me right, but I just do not see them not winning this game. Wh now get a depressed price with the much better team, so I have to go with my gut so I am playing this big.

That helped. I even added more at halftime.

Tomorrow:

Japan -218, -1 -127, win to nil +108
Germany/Spain BTTS Y -170
Canada +.5 -140, TT Ov 1 -103

I played all these one way or another. Used some parlays and I already have Japan and Germany BTTS to finish off one from today. I really think Costa Rica is bad so I just do not see them getting any kind of result against a strong Japan team. Should be 2-0 Japan. I do not know what is going to happen in the Germany game, but I expect both teams to score. I am hoping Canada shakes off the the first game and comes to play. If they do, they should take care of an aging Croatia team.

I responded in the other thread. Love that bet as Brazil comes through again and I also have them big to win the group which will get me a lot of bankroll back since they were -300.

Only one play tomorrow and its a large one for me:

Dutch -1.5 -152

No opposed to the -2 if you do not want to lay the juice, but I am laying it. Qatar is bad. Would think they play some players who have not had a chance to play since they are out. The Dutch want to win the group so they want to win. I know they would much rather play USA or Iran than England. They should win this game 3 or 4 to nil. Not opposed to a TT play here either.

See no reason to post anything else. I seem to do better just posting my favorite plays.

USA is going to struggle with Iran. I think it is vital that they score in the first half. The longer this game goes scoreless the harder it will be for them to win. I said all along that they did not want to go into this game having to win, but failing to beat Wales has created this. This is a tough spot for a young US team against a team that can frustrate them. Not to mention, that this my be the biggest game in Iran's history. There is a lot going against this young US team, so we will see what they got. I also do not think Berhalter will start his best team and likely struggle with subs as he usually does. I really want to see the US win, because I actually think they could win one or two more if they get over this hump. Just not willing to put my money on it.

Nice win with the Dutch. Could have used that 3rd goal for a big parlay payout but I'll take it.

I am not in love with anything today, but I think all the dogs could be live, especially buying them up to +1.5, so I will parlay them all at +1.5, should pay about 5-1.

I also think the Saudis could actually win the game or at least get the draw. If that game stays 0-0 Mexico will have to open up and they could lose. No way Mexico should be this big of a favorite based on their recent play. I will see how this first half goes. If It is scoreless, I will likely make a Saudi play.

3 out of 4, got lucky with the Saudi +1.5 but helped me out.

Tomorrow is another tough day, but I like one play:

Morocco +115

I liked this Morocco team to start the tournament and they have looked better than I thought. They only need a draw but they will play to win and they are better than Canada.

Croatia will be a popular play but I am not biting. There is so much negative press around Belgium that I could see them rallying like Mexico today. I have certainly been wrong about them so far, but I am holding out hope.

Germany should beat CR handily, but I just can not find any value at all in any lines. They are all inflated towards Germany and goals.

Which Japan shows up? Not sure so not betting it. I think they can hang around and play for a draw, but just can not trust them after that Costa Rica game.

Wild day. Germany out once again.

Sticking with the one posted play a day:

Uruguay/Ghana BTTS Y -107

Uruguay has to score, right? I think this is going to be a good game with some goals, so I like the price on BTTS.

I really need Brazil to win the group so I have plenty riding tomorrow.
