For every ?1 staked you get 75p on at 16/4 = ?3.75

Multiply your stake by (number of places / number of dead heaters)
in this case ?1.00 x ( 3/4) = 75p

You should read my site more and you would already know!!!

Monarch,

If 2 players had tied for 1 place (5th) then you would have received 1/2 of your full ticket price.

So if your stake was 10 then, using a decimal price which includes your stake 5.00 (4/1), you would get back 1/2*[10*5.00]=25

In this particular situation 4 players tied for 3 places (3rd, 4th & 5th) so you will receive 3/4 of your full ticket price.

3/4*[10*5.00]=37.5

Hope this helps

Thank you for the help bettingmad and nomad. I'm sure I'll be refering back to this post and your site to remind myself in the future.

Mickelson once again underlined the need in golf to have the mental game on the same level as the golf swing. I really wish he would go and have sit down with that psychologist Ernie and Retief have been seeing. In fact he should take McCarron and DiMarco with him.

I'm not sure Mickelson needs a psycho. I feel his problems are in the decision making rather than a lack of belief; there is a different air about him as opposed to McCarron.

I think you are being a bit harsh on Dimarco. He strikes me as a real trier and probably overachieving. I can see him challenging throughout the year.

Rio, I agree that Mickelson has poor decision making capabilities at crucial times. I love watching his aggressive style of play I just feel if he had the ability to assess his options a little better he would take the next step. I'm not questioning his confidence level just suggesting that if he seeked mental guidance (as so many sports professionals have) it would maybe provide him with greater clarity of thought in important situations. It could certainly be argued that both DiMarco and McCarron are over-achievers. The reason I mention them is that they continually choke when leading. This illustrates my initial point that mental toughness is a massive key to success in golf. I know this is nothing new, it just impressed me how Tiger was so tough in times of adersity while his fellow competitors fell away.
