Figured I would make a post here as some people might be interested in winning some money

Find it interesting that some people still remember the q factor.

I enjoyed my time posting but the amount of data that went into the program was overwhelming

There are so many good data source is out there now and some can be manipulated into the blastoff system

It started bothering me that people would bet so much money on my selections that I decided that it was time to not post them anymore without being able to come up with two out of three winners as the system first produced.

Remember it?s all about the numbers nothing else.

A few of the statistical programs that are out there that I believe put out accurate numbers and to play against when Vegas looks like it?s giving you a gift

Look at these two programs and play against the pics that vary more than 4 points away from the Las Vegas line. Both need to have that variance

Example:
Team a is 10 point favorite over team b

Both programs will need to have either team a winning by 14 points Or winning by six points or less remember you do not play the expected team you play anti-selection

For example in today?s schedule the only play would?ve been on Detroit +4 against Northern Kentucky both systems had Northern Kentucky to win by 9.3 points and by 9
Human logic says if I only have to give four and they are supposed to win by nine then I should be playing Northern Kentucky but as we all know the anti-blast off system says play the other side in this case it would be Detroit +4 of all the games on the board tonight this was the only game that fell into the system

It?s great to have other resources when it comes to using power ratings. As a rule I?ve used Sagarin and Gold sheet ratings along with their home court advantage points and it worked great in the past however some days this system using those two power ratings would go o?fer some of the days and mess with your psyche so the key would be to consistently stay with the system in the long run!

Do you find the same when using these two power ratings you posted?

Billy, does this refer to the current line or only the opening line.. for example, if a play does not qualify with the opening line but moves to a line that does - would that be a play?

Here's an interesting one.. Both models have Rutgers by 2. The lined opened Rutgers -2 but has now swung to Penn St -2.. Would that qualify? :shrug:

That's exactly what I see and the question I have.:shrug: Indy St has a variation around 3, but doesn't quite hit the mark according to Billy's summary above...sooooo close!
