At the cut update
90 hole matches
Mediate/Lickliter loses at cut
Sluman/Lickliter tied
Trip/Sutherland 10 down
Geiberger/Blake 4 up
Looks like will be forunate to split at best.

Exotics
Outrights were equal to their odds.Couldn't have made cut if adding both their scores.

Dog parlay is concluded as Houston bites the dust.Appears to be only loser out of the lot.
Decent effort.

todays 2ball parlay is shot as Calc despite bad wheel lights it up.

I have witnessed bad beats for a round or tourny but I have never and mean never seen one get as many bad beats as Stan has in this tourny.I know one thing, these things are suppose to even out and this one will be hawking Stans play in next few weeks cause I know results of turn arounds I have witnessed in past two years.-------------------and what about my little buddy Spike. He can flat putt the ball.11 birdies and a 61

Day's score has just been re-recorded as 71!!!

Means my 2-unit 72-hole play against Nobilo is a winner, but means my 1-unit play on Ames is a loss. Even the good breaks have a caveat this week

4th round update: 1-3-1 and -1.25 units

Won the 3-unit play as Faxon beat Couples by two, but edged out in the rest. Funk and Cink tie for a push, but Ames loses by two to Day and Mayfair and Maggert lose by a single shot, the latter despite shooting 65

One of the 72-hole plays is decided at the cut and it is a winner: Day beat Nobilo by four shots. In the other two, Azinger and Sabbatini are now tied, while Leonard leads Olazabal by three. No chance of any joy on the outrights this week.

5th round plays:

Rich Beem to beat David Morland -105 @ Five Dimes
Mark Calcavecchia to beat Kevin Sutherland -105 @ Moneyplays
Tom Pernice to beat Frank Lickliter -105 @ Moneyplays [2 units]
Billy Mayfair to beat Scott McCarron -115 @ Five Dimes [3 units]
Tom Pernice to beat Blaine McCallister -115 @ Five Dimes
David Toms to beat Scott McCarron -115 @ Olympic [3 units]
Shaun Micheel to beat Joe Ogilvie +100 @ Five Dimes

It has definitely been a bad beat week. I've backed Maggert in two dailies and he shot -8 and -7 respectively, AND PHUCKIN LOST BOTH BY ONE! Flesch's 64 really hurt yesterday. The linesmakers have been pretty uncanny matching guys up, and not just because they are on the same course. Seems like the whole slate was 0-2 shot results all the way up and down.

My cappin has me backin some ? marks today, like Day ( +6, no -1: both suck ), Trip ( meltdown last week ), Hammond ( Donnie who? )? I must be nuts!

Nice job Ian!!!! Congrats on a BIG week!!!

Each week I've been putting a little more on Love in the Masters. Just can't see him staying at the 25-1 (@5 dimes). With his bad back seemingly behind him, I'm taking a shot with him as my main play @ Augusta, my favorite.

Final update: 3-2-2 and +2.95 units for the day; 8-9-5 and +1.60 units for the week

Small profit on the day as the only losses are the one-unit plays and a small profit on the week as the two remaining 72-hole plays complete a small sweep in that section. Today's results: Beem/Morland 5 down; Calcavecchia/Sutherland 5 up; Pernice/Lickliter all square; Mayfair/McCarron 2 up; Pernice/McCallister 5 up; Toms/McCarron all square; Micheel/Ogilvie 1 down. In the remaining 72-hole plays, Azinger beat Sabbatini by six and Leonard beat Olazabal by three.

Update on outright plays: 0-3 and -3.00 units

Not even a sniff! Duval finished in 51st and Funk in 30th. Huston has already missed the cut. Roll on next week and a Thursday start, no amateurs and a tougher course!

PGA Tour ytd:
Matchups/props: 42-45; -19.23 units
Outright plays: 2-18; +0.00 units

All Tours ytd:
Matchups/props: 82-90; -34.97 units
Outright plays: 11-65; +47.63 units

Nice job again this week Ian

And I hope you're right about the safer, more predictable nature of Tour events to come, this is been quite a spell of volatile scoring

What a weird week!

To top it off both $plays and 5dimes mis-graded tourney matchups for me after ITOPS had done the same thing yesterday on 4th rounders.

I like these outs, mostly, but they get pretty sloppy on us golf bettors/punters with there accounting.

Felt lucky to win 3/4 of "dog chit" matchups with Day beating both Cochran and Allenby and Trip "lucking out" by edgeing Allenby on another bad day. Hammond got beat as he couldn't repeat his 65 from earlier on this course.

Most BIZARRE match of the day was Sabbatini/Kaye. Thought I had backed a real loser in Rory but Kaye threw in two triples and a QUAD to hand it over after Rory had a birdie, QUAD, birdie string at one point. Everyone else is shooting lights out and I found myself transfixed by the dead last brigade. Guess the gods of golf owed me one for the Maggert heartbreaks!
