Just finished watching the 79 Dutch Master tournament chances are i watched this as a kid ...No BS i watched alot of these ABC programs ..Hudson wins ...He was the guy i didnt like watching :violin:
But he bowled better in each match ...227, 255 and 270 for $90,000 ...Holy smokes :toast: to him .
I didn`t like him dont know why ? They way he held ball and such didnt look comfortable . Earl had a split in 5th frame and didnt pick it up which led to Hudson taking over .
Then Hudson cruises in Final vs. Dickinson ...I remember that guy, glasses and such.
Anyway ..All these right handed pros when they miss it`s the 10 pin ...So being able to pick up a 10 pin spare is pretty darn important...They all change balls too on spares ...I just want to do some bowling that s what this thread was about.
Earl Anthony said if lanes are slick release at foul line ?
If lanes are hooking loft ...Do these still ring true?
Seems like some good stuff to know ..
Also all these guys are 6 ft plus and lean...Im a short Irishman with an 18 in neck and i have power to spare ...But the guy i like most was smooth, very little wasted energy (Coleman) ...Any short bowlers you guys can point me too watch.?
