I see both fights as potentially dangerous.

Theres seems to be a lot of love for JuanMa and Gamboa ITD.

Gamboa has looked sensational at times, but he fails to impress sometimes, he gets knocked down A LOT as well.
Mtagwa looked tough as nails in his last fight, I like his weight, he seems to be up.
I guess Gamboa gets a lat stoppage or wins a dec, but maybe Mtagwa is still there in the later rounds and can catch Gamboa.
There is also that small concern that Gamboa is having a little trouble keeping his weight down?.

As for JuanMa.

He?s coming off a pretty poor showing and he?s moving up a dvision to face a tough and very akward figter in Luevano?.he?s also a very wide fave? looks dangerous to me?.

BOL!!!

I have my questions about the Gamboa-Mtagwa fight, for the reasons your highlighted here. Gamboa should do his thing, but Mtagwa's performance against Lopez was exceptional. I would be kicking myself if Mtagwa were to do this again. I don't have a strong feeling about the over/under either. I'm staying away here, other than a nickel longshot parlay I have working with Tamara and Mtagwa... 5 to win 240. I don't see it happening but...

I think Lopez will rock. I think alot of him...every 'great' fighter gets unexpectedly tested at some point - Lopez passed his. I think the extra weight does him well and he dominates Luevano.

Good luck madmen!

"the bunker"
very small parlay for some action....

gamboa inside- luevano/juanma over 9.5...laying 2/3 to win 1.15.....

it`s pathetic that i can`t relax and watch 2 solid match-ups without having something miniscule going....i can do it with football.....

much harder to do with your true sports passion...

my name is gardenweasel...and yes,i`m pathetic..

Could not agree more.

Gamboa seems to have the talent to take almost any opponent out in a couple of rounds but just does not bother his arse.
There is no way he will lose but I would not be surprised if it's a one round blow out or a late win with people saying "If only he had gone all out for the stoppage".

Luevano is a far more skillfull fighter than Mtagwa BUT some fights just come down to styles.
I don't believe Luevano will give Lopez fits like Mtagwa.
This fight will come down to skill not willpower and Lopez will be too much for Luevano .

Good luck boys!!!! :toast:

Miguel Cotto is a good dude. A real gentleman. On a different note, I don't think Foreman will be easy at all for the Boricua.

Gambia either chases survivivors down in 10 rounds or he hunts guys down and bangs them out in short order. Glad it was quick tonight. All I can say is Gamboa is a speciman.

Green headed to Super Six

Green headed to Super Six

Looks like Allan Green is in as Jermain Taylor?s replacement in SHOWTIME?s highly acclaimed Super Six tournament and Sakio BIka is out. Green and Bika were slated to fight on February 5 in Santa Ynez, California, with the winner to get Taylor?s spot, however, the fight has fallen through due, apparently due to issues on the Bika end, thus paving the way for Green to move directly into Taylor?s April 17 slot against Andre Ward.

ok, it looks like both favorites rocked today.

I'm not really surprised, but I didnt expect it to be that one-sided.

Good work guys!
