It's amazing. 10,000 people were at the Ruiz-Perez match in Mexico on Saturday, with three chick fights as the supporting undercard. Germany gets tens of thousands for every major event. Bradley and Alexander are two of the best fighters in the world. Boxing is dying in the US, but seems to be holding strong in other countries.

It's really a shame!!!!

Obviously its not in Devons hometown (and of course far from Bradleys either) but the pure class of the two should really sell more seats!!

One thing I don't understand why Joe Smyth favorite over Menay Edwards? Looks to me that Edwards should be favorite. In any case, I place bet on Edwards, at those odds I think it is good value bet even if I am missing something.

I didn't read it but I bet I know what he says.
I'm tired of same old phrases before every fight.
Seeing is believing.

Fear of failure is a biggie. Arreola has a built in excuse if he loses so he doesn't train his hardest. He fears that if he does train his hardest and still loses then there is nothing to fall back on. He's not the only fighter or athlete that suffers the dilemma. It's this lack of confidence in himself that keeps him from reaching his potential. Adamak was a VERY winnable fight but he just wouldnt train. My .02 for the day.

Interesting.
Imagine fear of failure that is bigger than fear of walking into Vitalys punches round after round after round.
Interesting creatures those humans.

I think you're right Andrey. Looking at the records, Edwards looks like he should be a slight fav to me. Of course the unpredictability of the Prizefighter and all makes almost every fight a toss-up, but I think there's some value in Edwards as the dog. Nothing worth more than a small play in this tourney though.

Overall, a pretty shitty field. I'll say Banbula, with an 11-25 record, upsets Dodson and then goes on to win the whole thing.

Friday wagers

Friday wagers

I'm going small on Dallas Jr. tonight, and very small on the Arreola-Abell UNDER.

Dallas vs. Joseito is a very even fight. I have been impressed with Dallas lately though, and think that he's showing solid improvement. I think his smooth boxing should be able to counteract Joseito's straight forward winging style well enough to take a tough points decision. I got Dallas at +115, but money appears to be going on him, as he's now -135 to -150.

With Arreola vs. Abell, neither fighter is what you would call elusive. I can only see it as a slugfest, and although Arreola's punching power seems lessened in recent fights, I think that he should club his way to a ko win before round 6. Got this at -120 but odds have also moved steadily here.
