Word from the L.A. Times that if Alexander wins there is a rematch clause, but if Bradley wins its most likely gonna be Bradley vs. Amir Khan at Staples Center

I agree, Dallas vs. Joseito is an excellent match-up. Good to see solid young guys getting pitted against one another, rather than getting pampered until they get an undue shot. Both will be better for this fight.

I'm with you guys on both Areola under and Dallas.
Dallas is far from sure thing, though. Josesito is capable guy with high level of activity.
Good luck guys!!!

I actually think Josesito will win

definitely a tough call either way

The line has basically flopped

from Lopez -140 to Dallas -140

and the DRAW is listed at only +1250

that's extremely low payout for a draw - oddsmakers see a close one here

Great undercard action as you gents have mentioned. I've seen them both in person and the thing I remember about lopez is he has a tendency to coast and not let his hands go. It's gonna be a great one but I think Dallas jr takes advantage of those lulls to take a decision.

And 249 for Arreola?? Jeeez. He's a great guy in person and that's what makes this soooo frustrating. But still thinks he ices the iceman early like he did with Witherspoon.

All rounds were competitive and close, but I thought Dallas was winning the fight by a round or so.

I also thought the stoppage was big-time quick. Dallas got rocked and was staggered back, but the ref was in there immediately to stop the fight, not even a knockdown. At least let the guy go out on his shield. I'm not sure Dallas was even all that hurt.

Nice call Ghost.

Nahh, he was gonzo Q, the ref saved him from being layed out cold which isn't necesarry. First hook really hurt him , second hook even more son, good stoppage...IMO

Another too quick stoppage. Abell was gonna get knocked out, but geez man, this is a fight. They gotta bring the standing 8 count back. Both fights were the perfect circumstance for it.

You think so punch? Man, I didn't see that at all. I saw him staggered back, and yeah, I think one more good shot would've knocked him down. I think you gotta give the guy that chance. He just didn't look that hurt to me. Even just seconds after the stoppage he seemed pretty clear. Good to hear another perspective though.

Bring back the standing 8.

You got to love Arreola. "I am ugly I don't want to be even more uglier."

How bout Arreola kissing Abell after after the ref stepped in and screaming "I'm fucking back" on top of the ropes?

Man, this guy is delusional (and pretty classless)

KO1 over Joey Abell and he thinks all the hard work really paid off !
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

He will be 50 pounds heavier by next Friday.

Saturday plays

Saturday plays

Cermeno, Bopp - 2 parlay - medium
Also added Joyi a little lesser. I think Cermeno is too good for Terrazas, and Bopp will not lose in Argentina.

Argenis Mendez (+160) - medium
I'm not really sold on Mendez. Decision win against Honorio looks good, but it was a gift. This is more a play against Baloyi. Home fight for him but I think he's old and shot. Mendez' youth carries him here.

Devon Alexander (+170) - medium rare
Bradley is the logical choice, and this pick goes against the grain, but I just got a feeling that Alexander is gonna pull it off. I think speed and boxing ability will get it done for him. A red flag for me was Bradley's complaint about recent bad flu. If it's true it doesn't bode well for stamina. If not true it's a built-in excuse. Alexander upset W12 116-112.

Also got very small plays on Banbula (+200) and Edwards (+160) in the Prizefighter. Even smaller on Belghecham (+200) as I think his opponent, Sainte, is overrated.

Good luck fellas!

I'm going to take Alexander as well Q. Plus number. Toss up fight.

But I have to say, I don't love what I see in that weigh in video.

Screwing around. Laughing. Talking Trash.

Bradley seems really focused and determined. Others may say tight. We shall see.

Let's see if Alexander can rise to the occasion.

One thing for sure - if this was an IQ test, Bradley would win by a mile.

Bradley is a very well spoken, educated dude.

Alexander mangles the English language every third word.

Let's hope his boxing IQ is better than his speech habits.
