oddly a poll on big Denmark newspaper sports page ...they all picked 75% for Mads to lose ...like thousands of votes..

found that odd & opened lower.. they musta all knew somethin over there....but was crazier...euro books prices were way higher too..and kept goin up... weird.

retirement time for Mads..

You are right, Joey. They must have known something over in Denmark. Maybe Larsen had lifestyle issues that the Danes knew about? I had two streams going at once but it was clear in the first round that Larsen had NOTHING ... Magee easily hit him with left hands and Larsen's legs were going even that early in the fight ... The red flag for me should have been the Germans letting themselves get outbid for the fight. ... I watched Sylvester overwhelm a game Billy Lyell... Lyell almost went down from a big right hand in the ninth and Sylvester went right through him early in the 10th, with Jack Loew on the ring apron waving the towel, something like 50 seconds into the round (ARD in Germany doesn't post a round's time until the round is halfway over so all I know is that Lyell was stopped inside the first 90 seconds of the round, probably inside the first minute.)

interesting info Odessa and Fighwriter!!!

I dont like to bet on fights without any coverage, I found some weigh in pics and Larsen looked ripped but a little gaunt as well.

Well, now its seems as though he had some issues, too bad we didnt know about this earlier....

Congrats Ghost and Romi on a great weekend!

Some good luck for good dudes!

I watched the Shumenov, or should I say Campillo fight. I scored it 117-111 for Campillo. I actually feel bad for the Spaniard - but good for you guys. Finally a bad decision benefits the madmen!

Wish I was on board with you guys, was actually the worst week of the year for me...

Let's get'em next week my friends!!!!! :box2:

A reader of my website who was at ringside for Campillo-Shumenov emailed me to say he knows that TV can give a different perspective but that he was absolutely shocked by the decision (again, he was at ringside) and he added that people around him couldn't believe the decision, either.

I was unfortunately not a beneficiary of the judges' misreading of the fight, but maybe I will catch a break down the road (wry smile). Congratulations to those who DID get a break, though, as players have suffered some simply horrendous beats in the last year or so.
