Nicholas Walters vs. Irving Berry

Nicholas Walters vs. Irving Berry

Tons of fights to choose from this weekend, ironic the biggest and potentially most exciting fight that I will be attending, I may not even lay down a dollar on. Moving along....

(Nicholas Walters -240)
Going big on this guy here. He looks fast, throws nice uppercuts w/ both hands, and has a nice left hook. Irving Berry looks nothing short of disastrous in the ring. He has terrible balance, likes to switch from orthodox to southpaw w/ absolutely no success, tries to fight like Maravilla but is way too easy to hit, has no power, and to top it off, has no chin to speak of. He was utterly dominated by Jonathan Victor Barros, and what's even more amazing is that this "former WBA champ" did it while suffering from the Malignaggi, shorts too baggy and falling problem. From the opening round 'til the end he did the reverse Maidana, taking time to pull up his shorts in between punches.

gardenweasel, I forgot to mention Walters has had all but 2 of his fights in Panama. He's Jamaican but he's Panama based.

Rodriguez/Rosinsky

Rodriguez/Rosinsky

100-90 x 3 for Rodriguez....utter shock.

I had this fight a clear cut draw.

Not sure about draw, but a terrific fight, and Will had to have won rounds. Go figure. Rodriguez ain't really ready for prime time just yet either.

Rodriguez looked rather ordinary tonight, although I applaud him for not wilting under the pressure. Rosinsky on the other hand looked far more impressive than when I saw him last, although I must admit, that was only 1 round.

i was on rodriguez but

fockin joke that rosinsky didn't win a round

too bad he couldn't fight the way he did in round 1 and 2 to the final bell

i cant bet on e-rod again, only try to fade him in the future

RONNIE SHIELDS = regression as a fighter

look at kermit cintron, juan diaz, g. rigondeaux

erislandy lara proly fought well that night against pwill cuz shields was cornering kermit da frog

after watching some of narvaez vs cesar seda on youtube,i`d rather be watching seda vs donaire...

i didn`t watch it all,but from what i watched,i thought seda was winning..and raul caiz seemed to favor narvaez a bit.....

i noticed that in his last 5 championship fights in argentina, that narvaez` opponents` all had point deuctions taken....one guy had 3,lol....

he`s a very defensive fighter...he`ll have to be tonight to go the distance with donaire,imo...

i also noticed that narvaez has managed to avoid many of the best little men......seems maybe this guy is a tad overrated?....maybe at 36,he`s cashing out with one big score in the u.s.?...

guess we`ll see tonight...
