Bayaar to beat Edwards at -110.

The Mongolian has not been beat in 5 years and is pretty big at this weight.

Good luck all!!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Anyone know from this well informed group if there is an internet feed for Miranda vs. Sierra?

Gracias!

I'm beginning to wonder if this fight even took place. There is NOTHING on this one

Miranda annihilates Sierra

World rated super middleweight contender Edison ?Pantera? Miranda (33-4, 29 KOs) again showed why he?s one of the most feared punchers in boxing on Thursday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, CA. Miranda knocked out Mexican super middleweight champion Francisco ?Panchito? Sierra (20-3, 19 KOs) with a short right to the temple in round one to claim the NABO super middleweight championship. The time was 2:16 when Miranda sent Sierra pitched forward to the canvas.

After taking a closer look at the Rojas-Mbamba fight, I am starting to have serious doubts. I have Rojas from an earlier parlay, but am now going to hedge Mbamba at +180 for a guaranteed, albeit small win.

I know alot of guys are on Rojas here, but I don't know. Anyone know anything about the circumstances of Mbamba's win over the Thai Lookmahanak. This result was surprising given Look's 'win' over Arce. Before this fight, Mbamba didn't seem like much, but now?

For Rojas' part, he is a slick boxer-type, but has consistently lost to higher level oppostion. His fight with 14 loss Mexican for WBC title was a joke. There are 20 or 30 better guys at the weight. I saw this fight as well, and it was not easy for Rojas. He was winning a tough fight until opponent suddenly surrendered on his stool after 9. He never seemed hurt, so ending was strange.

I would make Rojas only the slightest of favorites due to homefield, but I think Mbamba is absolutely live.

Hey Romi...thanks for the good words after last weeks setback. That shit helps.

I like that Moore is Friday...If he comes thru then still time for more weekend action.

My information is that Mbamba's fight with the Thai was a war for six rounds, each guy having good moments but with the Thai cut on the scalp from a clash of heads, when Mbamba ended it with some big shots in the seventh. Before that, yes, Mbamba had not looked anything really special, and the win over the Thai was considered an upset in S. Africa ... An unbeaten southpaw from the Nick Durandt gym has to be respected but this fight was postponed for a month and Mbamba had to go all the way back to S. Africa, then all the way back to Mexico again for the rescheduled date, which can't have helped him.

Im in the same boat. I have rojas -160 and can scalp the bet which I'm strongly considering. Moore is also my largest wager on the week.

Golota 256 Adamek 214

Golota 256 Adamek 214

Both look soft to me but Golota looks particularly ragged.

Thats not a good weight for Golota.
Hes much heavier than in his previous fights.
Adamek looks pretty wide around the midsection, but I guess that was to be expected.

@Romi amd Quanah
I would have hedged as well. Mbamba is now available at +253 (5dimes)!
I can see why Roja is favoured, but how can a guy with 11 losses vs. an undefetad guy, with a good win in his recent fight be 3 to 1 fav!?
Maybe Mbamba is worth a small play!?

I'm on Moore as well!

That is a great weight for Golota, his heaviest ever...for Adamak backers anyway:142smilie. Somehow the line moved down to -390 on Adamak so I bought a little more straight up. I scalped the rojas wager. Either way I win 75 bucks. Lets go Adamak and Moore!!!

MY PLAYS:

SMALL
Shinny the Mongolian

MEDIUM
Jamie Moore

MASSIVE
Adamek

weepaul and night janitor, you are my boys, but Golota has NO CHANCE. Watch his last fight. Total quit job against Austin (over a year ago).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIq5pNyIIrY

Golota is picking up one last Polish paycheck.
Adamek EASY - even looking soft like that. Thomas too quick and too many sacks of balls for the Foul Poul.

Shinny the Mongolian wins !!!!!!!!!

Bayaar upped his game in the championship rounds and took the majority decision with scores of 117-112 and 115-113 in his favour with the other referee scoring it 115-113 for the champion.

RESULT
NAPA GETS THE VERDICT

Former European champion Ian Napa won the British bantamweight title from Gary Davies at the Bolton Arena on Friday night.

Napa found his groove in the middle stages to seemingly dominate the champion, though he needed a majority decision to take the title.

I remember....

I remember....

...not too long ago people were sucking Mike Mollo's dick and thought he would clown Golota....Golota rose to the occasion and did a great job on Mollo. Golota fights good when you don't think he has a chance and shits the bed when he "should" win......he's due for a win- too many people on Adamek and pissing on Golota.

He got dropped on his ass against Austin early. Golota is extremely weak early and thats been his downfall...but I believe he legitimately hurt his arm that fight and you can see his reaction during the fight.

Golota has some very good skills with pop to boot but he's a mental midgit that collapses under pressure. I believe 100% the injury was legit and no way could he fight on BUT he still got dropped hard by a guy that's not a big banger and arguably not even in the top 20. We know how adamak reacts under pressure so even if Golota has moments, it's not likely he will follow through. He rarely has in the past. I can't envision a 256 lb 40 + version of Golota changing his stripes and fighting impressively over the course. I feel his only chance is to bang out adamak early and if he doesn't he'll fold by the mid rds. Just my .02. Best of luck to backers on both sides!
