I took a chance with ANDRADE at +270( medium), hedged by the fight to go 9 rds, and a little on the draw

I'm sorry for you guys who picked Andrade, I'm afraid he wont win this fight. Evan just picked Andrade for a unit, that seals the deal for me. ;-)

and btw, Andrade is dangerous if his opponent gets tired, I dont see this happening against Bute, Bute has great conditionning, he moves and he clinches when he needs to.
Ring intelligence on a whole different level.

I played the over so far and a small bet on Bute...he's just too much of a favorite here.

I also have some minor bets on Guinn, Hearns, Escalante...

Agreed.
Bute should win, but he will have to go trough hell, and the odds don't reflect that. The over is the only logical bet, and i played it as a hedge at betandwin.

Good luck to everybody.

Wow amazing line at Sky: Bute/Andrade goes 10th rd or over -250. I put the account on it. Im assuming that means over 9rds?

Bute points is available -125 at Sky bet, but I don't think hometown is as important as others do, I think it will be a fairly-judged fight. I'd rate take over 9 at the higher chalk.

edit - passing on Hearns. Good luck to those who stick with him.

Ghost, it sounds like you have strong insight into it, I checked the othe forum as well, there's lot of support. I don't know much about either guy, I just went according to boxrec. The opponent is a bum, but Hearns is 29 years old, with a lousy resume himself. The line has inflated by now, if you caught it early then it's a solid play.

The bout is in Clavette's backyard, but I can see Hearns has fought outside of Michigan many times. And Quebec borders with the States, so it's not like going to Germany. I heard about the potential Duddy fight on HBO, that should be a fun fight, if it were in Michigan I could see a sketchy decision if need be to make that fight happen.

Kraj wins Round 1

He is bigger and has more skill than the Italian

but the Italian crowd is loud and solidly behind their guy

looks to me like Frago is very limited though

end of Round 5

Kraj boxing and backing up...jabbing

the Italian landing the sloppy, more hurtful punches

if it keeps going this way, Frago is going to probably get a close decision

he is the one pushing the action, and landing the bigger shots

Kraj is landing a lot of jabs, but not much more

i just hope Kraj makes it a few more rounds

he looks done

another underdog is going to win

this is getting ridiculous!

76-74

76-74

76-74

the Italian wins a BS tech decision

he was going to win the fight (it seemed) anyway

but that cut was weak man

another favorite bites the dust

One last note about the Kraj_Frago fight

hometown cooking or not, Kraj's performance really was incredibly poor all things considered

the guy was supposedly a world class amateur and holds a win over a solid fighter in Godfrey

He fought pathetically. I wouldn't hesitate to bet against next time

Frago simply willed his way right through him

I assume most of you guys consult that link pfcwintergreen posted, gamblersadvisory. There is a nice accounting regarding the Bute-Andrade fight. At any rate for me a hedge may be a wise decision as I have seen Andrade and he is tough.
