andrade truly is to good to be true....he is all heart......and a gentleman....i will from this point on root for him every time he laces `em up....

he reminds me of a guy me,my dad and my brother grew to love back in the 70`s/ 80`s .....he had the same sort of rough "aztec" looks...and fought every great fighter of his era(and there were many from that era)....

the guy was named alvaro "yaqui" lopez....he always came a whisker away from winning a champioship but always fell just short...he wasn`t strong like andrade, but he was gutsy and tough...

i hope to god that andrade gets another shot and wins a championship before he hangs `em up...

Ditto. He is a special, introspective guy. I do hope he wins a title. I'm fairly certain he'll get another chance.

i met LIbrado before, he's like one of the nicest dudes in the world seriously
/QUOTE]

I believe it. In spite of him being a rugged fighter, I don't think he does anything in his life out of the emotion of anger. I get a sense that Andrade sees the bigger picture in life more than most could ever imagine.

I had a good week, but I should have bet more on Guinn, the Hearns and Escalante Under...it's really a shame that I missed the props at 5dimes...it really takes them very long to put them up.

Six Heads looks like he might be worth a shot, H?ussler, I dont think he can go the distance with Kessler....

Yea, Bute was out, but all the freakin forearms and headbutts from Andrade surely did'nt hurt. I'll admit it was a bit strange, but it would seem Bute actually did beat the count at any rate. Goes with the territory, as they say.

With the excessive holding Bute did, he deserved every headbutt and forearm he got. He was clinching huge, which of course the biased ref gave him a free pass on. That much holding is point deduction time . You start getting points taken away, you change your game plan...

the holding issue has been a bone of contention with me for years....

seems most times refs totally ignore it(unless it benefits the home fighter)......excessive holding is illegal and imo, should warrant a point deduction....

i`ve seen way to many fights in which holding changes the flow of a fight....ruins it...not only for fans....it changes the outcome...

lousy refs have way to much damned discretion on the holding issue...boxing needs to tighten the rules up a bit...make them more uniform across the board...

HOLY SHIAT !!!!!!!!!!

First Mosley gets a KO with 1 second left

and now this

....

this is the guiltiest money I have ever won

Bute got KO'ed like a lil bitch

You lucky mofo, on both sides of a miracle! I was going to put a tiny play on Andrade to make watching the fight more fun, opted not to. Whew.

You must have built up some serious good karma in a past life, cuz the Ghost Kid I know is a real jerk ;)

Andrade is a truly great ambassador to the sport, what a trooper. Never gives up in the ring, and is world class outside of it. I'd like to see the title vacated with him fighting for it.

I like Lewis too, maybe a small play on the Kessler under. A very slow boxing day, it's hard not to get compulsive on days like this.

Agreed; Bute did grab a bit too much, BUT, this has been allowed too often so as to make it an acceptable tactic. Hopkins took holding to a new art form countless times and never got called on it. I'm probably biased as I had Bute in a parlay so I excused it. A rematch would be VERY interesting, something I don't think Bute would care for.

I took Guinn small at +2340 ITD. I want one last repeat performance of the Grant fight.
Hard to believe but I am still down a wad due to the UFC.

I hate being in Australia. I am now in a tiny resort called Port Cove. There is only one internet and it's in the post office.

Due to the time change and the postie being shut for the weekend, I could not check my results until now.

I am pretty pissed as, if I had been at home, I would have bought all my UFC bets back and been up a bundle due to the Guinn result.

Oh Well, such is life
