Saturday plays

Saturday plays

I've got both D. Geale and H. N'Jikam straight and parlayed. I think Geale will be too young and sharp for faded Karmazin. Karmazin's draw with Sylvester was more because Sylvester is average. I think his fights with Miranda and Bunema tell where he's at. I think Geale is a world-class middle, and he will get a solid victory here.

As for N'Jikam, I've watched some video and he's a bit raw but very athletic and talented. He's a bit wasteful with his energy at times, but I think he's one to watch. Khurtsidze is over-rated I think. A small squat guy who just pushes forward, doesn't even hit so hard. I don't think he has the physical attributes to really challenge N'Jikam.

Geale vs. N'Jikam would be a great fight!

Good luck guys!!

Also, couldn't find a line on the Zappa-Kim fight. But if so I probably would've gone on Kim small at plus odds. I think Zappa's fight against Angulo was telling. He was in deep there, and Angulo has really fallen off. Zappa's a tough guy, and probably a better boxer than Kim, but I think his penchant for brawling will get him into trouble against Kim.

Garcia-De la Rosa UNDER 9.5 (+200) - small Forgot to mention this one, which I played for a small but significant amount. Playing the angle here that Garcia will be much too much for him. De la Rosa's been 10 once, but other than that, he hasn't had a fight scheduled for more than 6. He may or may not have a chin, but at generous odds I'll make the play that Garcia is just plain way better, and overwhelms.

I don't understand why the -300 line hasn't moved:shrug:  . It briefly went to -320 at one site then moved back to -300. I have a pretty decent amt on it but I'm coming off a losing week and that's basically the only thing keeping me from slamming this one.

Kendall Holt chaos

I think people remember the Kendall Holt fight against Ricardo Torres in Colombia, Romi, with all that chaos ... Holt claiming he was hit by a flying beer can and also claiming someone at ringside grabbed him by the leg when he was trying to follow up after hurting Torres ... I think it is the site that worries people, plus with an unbeaten guy in the ring I suppose you never can really tell how good he may or may not be ... the Colombians have had the odd winner in an upset in the lighter weight classes (Canchila over Segura, Pastrana over Carbajal) and I think people are just keeping their money in their pockets as the British players say.

Dito!

I also agree with your reasoning!

Karmazin looked much better against Sylvester than he did against Bunema, but I doubt he can keep it up....and Geale is better than Sylvester anyways!!

I also think that Hassan will be extended into the later rounds.

Oral vs. Sylvester is not easy to cap. Oral looked good against Abraham, but he hasnt looked very impressive since. I think Sylvester gets it done, but it could be close... Small on a draw!

Not to be boring, but I agree as well. I think N'jikam wins at home. Fight should start around 4:30 EST according to French TV.

For those betting Karmazin-Geale take note:
Even though the fight happens in the middle of the night (Australia is 17 hours ahead), several books have listed an early start time and might pull the odds down.

If you like either side, you should take note of the specific time listed at your book.

I forgot about that one. I had money on Holt and now recall him getting screwed over there. Pretty insane when things are allowed to get that out of control. There is such a gulf in class tonight that you would have to think that a blatant hometown robbery is about the only shot De la Rosa has. Good luck!

NP gunsmoke. Knew this might be fioght of the day..though I am really really hoping I can get the Colombian bouts on LOCAL TV here.

One of very very few benifits of fight fans in Costa Rica. We get Mexican UFC broadcasts..but espanol..and all the TYC Argentina bouts and Panama & sometimes... Colombia, Chile.
