is ba-rer-ra hanging in there?.......or is he looking every second of 33 years old?....

He's hanging in there, but the way its going he's gonna need every bit of that GBP connection. But with the fight being in Vegas and Pac being a Top Rank fighter, I don't see either fighter having a promotional advantage here

As of right now, it looks like MAB will lose a 116-112 type of decision

thanks for the update....sort of a moral victory for him if he cam last the distance....

sort of ashamed that greats like m.a.b. and morales couldn`t really carry their power into the higher weight classes vs the tip-top guys.....

to many tough, grueling fights in the twilight of their careers....

lets hope he retires...

i just read the by-line at boxing news and it sounded fairly uneventful.....

m.a.b`s "tactical" style apparently ain`t gonna get it vs a younger/fresher/stronger more aggressive pfp guy like pacquaio....

tip o` the cap to barrera....he will be missed....

wouldn`t mind seeing pac/marquez II ,though...or pac/humberto soto...that would be fun while it lasted...

congrats guys on the big weekend...

good to hear from you
who would have thought that pac vs barrera was the least exciting bout tonight.
I got pretty lucky with the andrade and forbes fight which can go easily the other way.
The under in the mccline fight didnt make it though. Peter was totally gone in the third round.

i won good money but the andrade bet doesnt look as good as i thought.

.

Just a waste of 12 rounds. Bored me to death. At least Pac tried to make it a fight. When i heard Berrara say this was his last fight i figured he would pull this. It looked like the Moralles/ Berrara three fight.

I usually buy these fights and decided not to despite a pretty good size wager on pac. I'm glad I didn't. It appears Barrera just wanted to finish his career on his feet unscathed.

I had a decnt week going 3-0. Sportsbooks max bet is fcked up. I would have wagered a hefty amount on -135 Andrade but as I said 250 was the max. Oh well, no complaints w/a decnt profit.

I put down a rather HEFTY amt on Gomez @-420. What can the 41 year old McCall do differently except land a lottery punch? I think Gomez beats him easily.

Romi i saw all you guys on this Andrade character and i was thinking of putting some down but couldn't get a line. As soon as i could it was 3 to 1. what i will never understand about boxers is half of them don't know how to adjust. Hell if im in a car and some guy wants to fight me and a friend and then my friend gets out first and the other guy knocks him out with quick hands im not gonna get out of the car and start swinging with him. We are going down to the ground. Same thing with a wrestler. I will stand up. this guy that fought Andrade did exactly what Andrade would want. Mack looked like he has a lot of potential. I just can't figure out the mindset with some of these guys. He might have fought the dumbest fight i have seen yet. Well, it looks like all you guys did a nice job. Kudo's to you all.

Gomez is down to -360 at 5dimes right now, I'll probably parlay it with something solid down the round to lower the odds, but I haven't found a good partner for it yet

Gomez getting caught cold by Diaz a few years ago is the only thing that worries me here, but Gomez has shown a pretty good chin in his other fights so he should be fine....as long as he doesn't get overconfident that is. McCall is pretty slow at this point of his career, so Gomez should be able to see everything coming his way

Box, I think you've been celebrating the wins a bit this wkend. I've kept a good eye on the odds on several sites including 5 dimes and saw nothing resembling -360. It's currently -460 @5dimes. I remember him getting caught cold a few yrs back. It happens and it's in the back of my mind but I think Gomez has learned and will win a comfortable dec. Overconfidence can also be an issue. It looks like he's countering McCalls prediction of a ko w/one himself. I kind of think the odds will be -500 or more by fight time. I realize I could lose a small bundle but I'm not going to sweat it. Cardinal rule #1...never bet what you aren't willing to part with.

Congrats again on an excellent week!
