Forgive me if I am repeating something already said (scanned through but busy at work) but my boxing informer told me some guy named Goosen said Castillo could barely walk to his second weigh-in. I just took the last book that had only -125 on Corrales...3-way so I hope there is no draw.

Any further details explaining why Castillo could barely walk would be appreciated

Sorry flip; I read he (Corrales) loses both belts. This thing is a mess at any rate. They really should'nt be fighting, but too much money is at stake. This fight is tainted. If I had'nt already bet Chico inside I would pass. The ugly side of boxing rears it's head again. Was at the Alladin last nite. Kelly Pavlik had his hands full with Zuniga for sure. He whacked him good and it opened up a cut. The sports book super gave us ticks as they were papering the joint. Pavlik was -300 early Friday afternoon. He needs some more work if he really wants to step it up.

It has to do with the weight problem.....which of course everyone knew about but I think the idea here is that it is worse than first thought. It would seem the line is reflecting this. I have noticed prop suspensions too. Anyone know who Goosen is?

It doesn't matter how many points they take, you can't give a fighter more than 10 seconds to recover. The points only matter if the fight goes the distance and that fight was obviously not going the distance.

Untill they adjust the rules to where a fighter only gets 10 seconds to recover from a kd, the problem will remain the same.

The rules say the ref has to replace the mouthpiece at the next lull in action, right now a kd is considered a lull in action and it shouldn't be. Either the rule needs changed or a kd can't be considered a lull, something has to give.

The fight has to continue when the ref counts to 10, its that simple.

My doughts about this fight not living up to the 1st are completely over. With Castillo putting that much money on a ko, you know he means business. He will either stop Corrales or wear himself out trying, either way this should be another war and I don't see it going the distance.

I have a feeling the Arce-Hussein fight goes over 9.5, at -125 it might be worth a shot. Any thoughts?

Castillo has no regard for his loot nor his body anymore...That will be the easiest $100k Gary Shaw will ever make...

Box, I too will put my money where my mouth is(sort of)...If Castillo knocks out Corrales, I too will never make a boxing post again!

i thought arce looked awfully gaunt from the weigh-in pic`s.......i really couldn`t say...arce is a wildman....he`s hard to peg...he could get caught...or he could catch hussein...it`s a toughie...
