After seeing this picture, what a shame that anyone is allowing Rubin Williams to fight. He has that lost in space blank look in his eyes....just terrible.

Heavyweight title challenger Audley Harrison outweighed WBA champion Davis Haye by 43 pounds at today?s weigh-in in Manchester, England. Haye weighed 210.5 lbs., while Harrison scaled in at 253.5 lbs.

Haye weighed 11.5 lbs. less than his last fight against John Ruiz and the lightest he has ever weighed in his four fights in heavyweight division. Harrison?s weight was consistent with what he has weighed throughout his career.

The all-British affair takes place Saturday at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England. Former champ Lennox Lewis was on hand at the weigh-in.

Weekend plays

Weekend plays

Mixing it up with many mid-range plays this weekend:

Parlay - J.Ruiz, G.Groves, G.Rigondeaux (-150) - medium
All solid favorites. Ruiz should be able to outpoint Ler at home who, while durable, has become something of a sparring partner. Groves seems to be a level above Anderson. Rigondeaux with an ambitious shot at title in just seventh fight, but we know his vast amateur experience accounts for a lot. Line straight up is a bit too high for me, but I think he does everything a bit better than Cordoba. Cordoba with a good career, but I think that Dunne shocker has left some scars. I like the Rig W12 prop @ +242 which has dropped some now.

Ruiz-Roque Ler OVER 8.5 (-110) - medium
Line has moved on this one. Ler has proven himself durable, and I think a wide points win for Ruiz is the most likely result here. Ruiz W12 prop at +155 may be worth a shot too, but I prefer the 8.5, which isn't so deep.

G. Davies (+150) - medium
Playing the sense that Davies will pull off this minor upset. I like the plus odds in what I consider a toss-up. Watched a good bit of video. Hall the better pure boxer, but I think Davies is much tougher, and when push comes to shove, will want it more. Even considering the form line, Davies fight with Napa could've gone either way, while Hall was starting to take a beating before Napa mysteriously conceded. The final results against Napa are misleading. I actually think Davies may get the skinny Hall out of there.

Pacquiao-Margarito OVER 9.5 (+130) - medium
I think this is going the distance. Not in Pac's nature to play it safe, but I think he will have unusual respect for Marg's size and strength. Barring the Mosley result, Marg's beard has always been ultra-solid. Speed does kill though, and there is the chance that Pac's quickness will do to Marg what Mosley's did. My sense though, is that Pac will win a tough 12 round decision.

Groves-Anderson UNDER 7.5 (+115) - small
Groves can pop, and I think there is a gulf in class here. Anderson untested and I think Groves will go after him.

D. Corley (+500) - tiny Upset play of the weekend. Don't think it will happen, with fight in Fedchenko's hometown, but I like the risk/reward ratio here. Fed isn't that good, and if the Corley that gave Maidana all he could handle shows up, then it could well happen.

I still may not be done... Looking over another thing or two.

Good luck fellas!!!

I hate to say it but I think Marg has a shot in this fight at +450.
Pac might be distracted and taking things for granted.
Marg is MUCH bigger.
Marg can be a hellacious body puncher and I don't think Pac likes being hit there.

I think Rigondeaux is stellar but there is no way Cordoba should be +500.
I think the Cordoba who faced Dunne was way underprepared and was fighting someone who ended up having a "once in a lifetime" fight.
Who knows how Rigondeaux holds up late. He has never been past 8 rounds in his life and he is picking a real, live opponent to be going 12 rounds with.

Good luck people.

German Result

German Result

Late sub Gbenga ?Bang Bang? Oloukun (19-6, 12 KOs) scored a surprise fourth round TKO over Konstantin Airich (16-3-2, 13 KOs) in a good action heavyweight bout on Friday night at the Vogelsang Halle in Stralsund, Germany. Both fighters had landed big shots in the fight before Olougun leveled Airich hard with a crushing left hand in round four and the bout was stopped moments later. Oloukun was actually the third scheduled opponent for Airich this week after bouts with original foe Yakup Saglam and last-minute replacement Levan Jomardashvili both fizzled. It was a big win for the Nigeria-born fighter who had lost six of his last eight, but also had a win over former heavyweight champion Lamont Brewster.

I agree with you on both counts Weepaul.

The Cordoba line is out of whack. He's getting no credit at all for being world class at the weight. Plus, he's by far Rig's best opponent. At this price, I toyed with the idea of taking him... But at the end of the day I just don't think he'll get it done. Rigondeaux seems to be a special fighter.

With Pacquiao, I think his people are right to be nervous. If it's true he's less prepared and focused, it could be trouble. But I've been burnt enough by going against Pac. I think, in the end, his speed and versatility should effectively counter Marg's plodding and straight ahead game. We'll see how much Marg's size and strength come into play here. At +450 I agree that Marg is worth the fun. For me, the over is the play here.

"the bunker"
i know i`ve flubbed several times figuring that size and strength would undo pacquaio....pacquaio to me is like garlic to a vampire...

i`m just wondering how the margarito that moseley literally embarrassed(in between bad outings vs floyd and the great sergio mora) is gonna handle that lefty stance and the speed...2 out of marg`s last 3 losses to lefties(tall ones,though)...

i admit,it`s hard not to be tempted by +400....i know...i`ve been on the wrong side of pacquaio more than once...

Holy shit man
That is amazing

I mean
it's the size man
if you look at the weigh in

you would thing the big, shredded mexican was -500

but at -230

If that thing hits -200 I would feel obligated to bet the philipino
