Looks like plaster boy is going down HARD. If I can dump my bet I think it's the way to go. Pac looks like a fuking granite statue, whilst Margarito looks like he just smoked a joint. Plus Manny has the devilisly evil look on his face.

Fight over. Wide UD for Ruiz!

They have not announced the scores yet, but I will be shocked if Ler even earns a round.

120-108 across the board.

I don't think I can live in a world where Fraudley Harrison and this POS Margarito are world champions

Lucky for me, speed kills, and I think both these clowns get slaughtered

one more play

one more play

I'm adding one medium rare play to this weekends dossier:

Jesus Soto-Karass (+300) I was surprised when the line for this opened up at even money. I think that this was an accurate line though. I knew money was gonna show for Jones, and I should've gotten on Jones early with a future hedge in mind. I never thought Jones would go all the way to -500 though. I see this fight as a toss-up. What I see from Jones is a fighter who looks physically sensational. Dude looks like a ripped middleweight but only weights 146lbs? He is also very athletic and with these traits I expect him to be great...but I'm not sure he is, at least not yet. He has had a few, what I would consider to be 'disappointing' performances. He struggled with Germaine Sanders. He was safety first against Bruseles. He couldn't get oft ko'd Lenin Arroyo out of there. His last win against I.Garcia may have been a bit of a breakthrough. Jones may yet become great, but thus far I see him strangely lacking a certain intangible that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe just confidence.

Soto-Karass is a tough dude, coming into this fight with nothing to lose. He has bigger fight experience, and I get the feeling he will show up in an ass-kicking mood. He is by far Jones' best opponent. If Jones comes in unsure in any way he's gonna be in deep. If Jones passes this test with flying colors I will become a believer in him. At +3 and sniffing a surprise, I will take a shot on a big Karass upset.

i think this is very perceptive...jones is doing lots of jaw-boning...soto karrass is a very tough(although limited skill-wise) guy....

jones looks lazy at times...cocky to a fault...

the problem is that soto karrass has problems with good boxers...(foreman/freddy hernandez/alphonso gomez)...

given those odds, though,it`s worth a small play...maybe soto karrass takes jones into deep water and drowns him...out-guts him...

UK RESULT

UK RESULT

Darlington's Stuart Hall retained his British bantamweight title in good style by way of seventh round stoppage over brave St Helens man, Gary Davies.

Hall clinically poured on the misery and the referee waved the contest off at 2:58 of the seventh.
