Best fight of next weekend is one nobody will see:

November 27th (Friday), 2009

In Thailand
Oleydong Sithsamerchai (32-0) vs. Juan Palacios (26-2)

HBO card should be good. I am more excited about Guzman-Funeka than I am about Bute-Andrade. I think it's absolute bullshit that Andrade has to go back to Canada. Is Marlon B Wrong gonna ref again?

Also can't believe Baldomir is still at it. Geez.

Not so many "big" fights next weekend, but anyway I hope we ALL can make some good money after some "crasy" weekends!

As I really hate to see that some of your best are suffering due to some "shit" that happend lately.

:toast: to the best boxing board/crew on the web.

Cheers

I like Bute by 12 round decision. This is the only outcome I see for this fight. I think odds on this are great too.
I also like Malik Bouziane over Emiliano Salvini.

On both as well , maybe small hedge with Andrade 10-12 rounds .

OH HELL NO !!!!!!

Holyfield-Botha January 16

Promoter Eddie Bazira and Baltic Pro Box Promotions, in association with Real Deal Events LLC, SES Boxing, Fight Production and Risum Boxing, are proud to announce that contracts has been signed for legendary former four-time heavyweight champion of the world Evander ?The Real Deal? Holyfield to challenge Francois Botha for the South Africans World Boxing Federation World title on January 16 at Nelson Mandela Memorial Stadium in Kampala, Uganda. A sell-out crowd of 80,000 spectators is expected, and details are being finalized for worldwide pay-per-view distribution. So this is why Botha got that phony ass decision against Carrion. They were negotiating with the Real Deal. Ah hell. As Lennox Lewis would say, "Politricks"

Couple of the books have lines on Dimitrenko, Alexeev fights, but no go in Boxrec and no go in the Great Ghosts list, so I assume no fights in Germany this weekend?

I can answer for Ghost here, Punchmaster... Krasniqi suffered a ligament injury in his right foot and the whole card in Germany this weekend was cancelled.

WBC: Edgar Sosa emeritus champion

The president of the WBC Jos? Sulaim?n, announced today that ?dgar Sosa has been named a WBC emeritus champion, while the Filipino Rodel Mayol is recognized as WBC light flyweight world champion. The ?emeritus? designation gives Sosa the right to immediately go to the front of the line to fight for a WBC title in any weight division. (More to come)

Wish the statment ended with:
"and all gamblers who got screwed by that headbutting cheater Mayol will get there bets refunded immediately...."

I'm baffled on this one    How the hell did Mayol get away with the blatant butt IN MEXICO in the first place? And now Sulaiman who is as crooked as they come, doesn't rule a NC and just declare Sosa the champ ???

Exactly. What the hell does the mean!?!?? Oh great, so he can pick any champ to fight in any weight division. So he can fight Klitschcko if he wants to?
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

I mean what type of compensation is that? Any weight division. It should be a damn no contest.

I'm telling you this one pisses me off so much. I am still hurting from that Brandon Vera decision against Couture, and then this crap.

Just watch Mayol's last 4 fights. The fuker couldn't compete at world level until he started lowering his head and smashing people's faces. 1 fight is maybe a mistake. 2 fights in sort of suspicious. But now he has had 3 fights in a row !!!!!!!! stopped by butts. Cheating bastard - only in boxing does this kind of crap take you straight to the title. I still can't believe this went down like that in Mexico. Nobody in that stadium looked out for their boy Sosa. A damn shame.

Lines are out. Under 6.5 in the Concepcion-Leyva fight looks pretty good as a Friday opener. Leyva is just an opponent, and has been ko'd numerous times. Concepcion comes out intense, and with fight being in Panama, I just don't see it going into the 7th...not at all.

Opened at -130... Now at -155. Get it while it's hot!

Well thanks to Mayol I am working with pennies and won't be betting this week, but if I had some cash available I would think a Bouziane-Barker-Bute parlay is CASH MONEY. No sure things in this sport, of course, but Bouziane and Barker, in my opinion, are far superior to their opponents. You could always hedge Andrade KO if the first two bets hit. Bute fights on HBO Saturday night so he is the last of these 3 fights.

I also think Molina is a good price at just under -300. But then again, Honorio does hold a win over the Robot Terminator Mtagwa.

Rafal Jackiewicz -140 - Small
I see this fight as an even back and forth, action fight until the 8th round when Delvin will tire as he as shown on at least 4 fight that I have watched of his. Then, Rafal will come on strong to win rounds 9-12 and win a UD or late KO in the last two rounds.

Barker vs. Elcock Under 8.5 -110 - Small *No Action*
Darren Barker is improving and now has good snap and decent power on his quick shots. Wayne Elcock has looked very shaky in his last three fights and has a questionable chin. I see Barker being too powerful for Elcock and his 35 year old legs.

Funeka vs. Guzman Over 11.5 -130 - Large
Guzman is a great defensive fighter and with good counter punching, but not a lot of power. Funeka is a punching machine that pumps the jab all night as he showed against Campbell. Campbell hit Funeka with everything and couldn't stop him, so Guzman shouldn't be able to stop him. Besides, Guzman likes to win easy by moving and countering.

Koki Kameda -200 -Medium
Kameda is young, fast, and talented. Daisuke Naito is a very good fighter, but his 4 wars with the great flyweight Pongsaklek Wonjongkam have expectedly taken there toll on Naito. I see a changing of the guard so to speak with the new guard Kameda being too fast and powerful for the old guard Naito.

Lucian Bute by Decision when props come out
I see the same results as the first fight except with Bute not getting knocked down and pacing himself better to win a decision. Bute did training with Glen Johnson which I think is a very good sparring partner when training for Andrade. Andrade will give it his all, but I just don't see as much skill and talent as Bute.
