Spongy-I had to download Real Player. Windows Media player ain't cutting it. Real will direct you to codec stuff to DL, and then it plays. By the way, tonymontana, you are the MAN! That Andrade is a tough bastard. Kessler is a thing of beauty to watch, especially the 1-2. Has a short powerful left hook which reminds me of a punch Joe Louis use to throw; so did Marciano. I like the OVER 10.5-175 here. Either way, Calzaghe don't get knocked out nor does Kessler. I see a tough fight, but a long one.

Hey Frankie, tell me something i dont know.

BTW new odds are out :

Danny Green at plus 300 against 39 year old Tarver ??? Yummy. Danny Green is a real fighter that comes to fight and he can punch and he looks good at the new weight. The line is off plain and simple.

Povetkin under 11.5 at plus 160 ? Not so good as Green for 300 but Povetkin has worked on his power as main goal after the Donald fight. Russian strength rowing coach was hired. Hopfully the russians know what they are doing but i like that style match up alot. Byrd stands in front of Povetkin with his diminished reflexes and reactions and no real power to keep Povetkin honest.
This can be over fast but than Byrd is tough getting floored from Mcline is no good sign. 600 to win a 1000.

I played Green over Tarver as well

Green doesn't always come to fight, his performance against Miranda was absolutely pathetic. We found out later that Green had a medical condition that kept him from being 100% in that fight. But from what I've read he's still not perfect physically, so I played him conservatively just in case. However, if Green is healthy and comes to fight, this is a very even fight. The +300 odds made it a must play

Btw, I thought about playing the Povetkin Under at +160, but I already have a solid parlay riding on him and I don't want to risk the potential profits. As long as Povetkin wins...I'll be happy

Happens to the best of us.
Wrong Green.
Danny Green is the one. He lost to Mundine, Knocked out Lucas and had Beyer out on his feet in germany but got played in the first fight.
This Green is better than Allan Green but i have a soft spot for aussie fighters.
Awful lot of people in germany are tipping dec maybe i pay back but i have time to decide. Lets wait what my man plays.

LOL...my bad

In the 5 years I've been betting boxing, I honestly don't think I've ever confused one fighter for another. As many fights as I play, I guess it was bound to happen eventually. I'm very familiar with Danny Green as well, I just got the names mixed up, again...my bad

The funniest part of the whole thing is that I still like my play just as much as before.

Just give me Green at +300...any Green will do...lol

Tarver is getting old, and he was overrated to begin with. We are talking about Antonio...right?

lol bl

i`ll wait a little longer...i see that kessler money is coming in.......and he is the sexy pick,imo.....

so i`ll hold my water for awhile and see where the kessler momentum takes these odds.....

i like kessler.....he`s very good..... but i don`t think he has a plan b..he`s one-dimensional....he does that very well....but,he`s a stand-up boxer-puncher...very european..i didn`t love his feet vs andrade...and i wasn`t bowled over by his power.....

he`s going against a guy thats a lefty,very clever,and has a more well-rounded style....

not to mention a HUGE home court advantage....

could calzaghe pick his spots and out-move and out-quick kessler?...cpuld he lose the fight and still get a close decision?...something to consider...

granted,it was a nice kessler win over mundine.....but,it`s not like it hadn`t been done before(siaca).......

this is a whole different ballgame...very reminiscent of jeff lacy travelling to the isles, and taking a career altering beatdown.....not many, other than the hardcore-blind calzaghe fans expected that demolition....

location,location,location....

calzaghe doesn`t look old to me....

lets see how far these odds recede before we commit......

the over looks interesting....and of course, the draw prop....

Well said your weasel-ness. I like the over 10.5 more than a straight Kessler play. And I agree 100% with your comment that Kessler is the "sexy" play. Calzaghe by decision might get the gold. Yea, lets wait and see.

thanks(your frank-ness:D )

it`s a tough call....a real fan`s fight....now,what usually happens when i make a post like this is that kessler scores a one punch devastating knock-out in the second round...after embarrassing calzaghe throughout the entire 1st round....

rendering my commentary not worth the urine it would take to put me out if i were on fire......

I bet my life savings on Danny Green against Mundine, will never bet on him again. Tarver is overrated and always has been but I just wouldnt trust Danny.

I like the guys on this board - very astute. If youre going to bet Calzaghe do it be dec. I think both fighters are very good. I just wouldnt feel safe betting on Kessler for the simple fact that I dont think he has ever fought a guy with great speed. I think he can beat almost anybody out there but the thing that might get him is a guy with great speed.

This is a Superfight - these are two of the best fighters in the world in my opinion. Calzaghe is definitely top 10 P4P and Kessler might be as well.

I just dont have a good feeling about it either way because I simply dont know how Kessler will deal with the speed.

I cant wait to see this fight though.

The poles in TJ are the sh!t, dont kid yourself. Im outta San Diego now and am shacked up with a Cuban broad in Miami. She seems to think Im a compulsive gambler for some reason and wont let me gamble. Im breaking her down on the boxing thing though, I'll be up and running again in no time.

I think the Cotto vs Mosely matchup is very interesting. I was thinking of jumping on Cotto at first but now Im wondering..

I need a little guidance.

Ok.....I'm no boxing follower but I get tidbits of info here and there. I heard Tessler is carrying a bruised bone on the hand. Is there a pre-match interview coming up cause the rumour is the question will be asked? Is this a smoke screen or has anyone else heard anything?

I heard the same thing. and also that Kessler has not been able to spar for a week or so because of it. I'll go back and find it again but i beleive the source was credible.

Same source that had lennox coming back.
I believe its BS.
And even if its true it makes it an even fight because Calzaghe will break at least one hand at on time in the fight.
Fact is i saw avideo from Kessler yesterday of him being in Cardiff working the bag and the mitts with both hands with full power.
Good time to get some Kess money if you havent.

here is where it was first reported. Sounds like a rumor...but who knows?

I agree though Calzaghe will probably break his hand during the fight.
