No problem Romi and I agree dude !

good odds for a fight I think cruises over...I am actually more concerned with Albert's chin than Sanders

:mj07:

Teddy Reid used to be a vicious finisher, and Sanders has hung in there with everyone else. He also always seems to keep himself in decent shape.

one concern is, I think, Sanders is moving up to 154 for this fight. But on a few days notice, i think Albert will be looking to just bank the win. And Albert is not a huge banger at 154.

I like the OVER 9.5 - MEDIUM WAGER.

good luck !

My Friday bets are:

LARGE PARLAY
Pozo straight to McGirt Jr. OVER 9.5
(using Pozo to bring the over price down a tad)

MEDIUM
Albert-Sanders OVER 9.5

SMALL
Truscott straight
Quintero straight

Saturday looks VERY NICE...I expect good things by Sunday morning....

good luck all

I only have 2 boxing bets this week and they are both dogs.

Pozo/Rodrigues under 9 1/2 rounds at +275. Pozo is pretty quick and Rodrigues has been stopped in the past.

Quintero to beat Casal at +215. Quintero's opponents records are beyond terrible but Casal is too slow to be this highly favoured against anyone with more than 1 arm.

Good luck all!!!! :toast:

my plays:

Truscott 2,2
Pozo under 9.5 3,91
McGirt over 9.5 1,35
Quintero 3,7

Albert over 9.5 1,65
Berto 9 1,4

thoughts on miranda/cruz under 8.5?

Ive seen youtube clips of miranda beating up stiffs. miranda has lousy balance and doesnt sit on his punches, it's like he's on roller skates. in 1 vid he's against a fearless mexican guy who is throwing like crazy, miranda stands and trades with him, and eventually ko's him. but both the KD punch and the ensuing KO punch were to the back of the head! so it's inconclusive. the other ko punches i watched weren't that hard, his opponent either stunk or just gave up and waited to be counted out.

i was hoping cruz was another stiff, but after reading graham's article, he sound competent. i guess its no play for me.

anyone taking this fight?

Simpson vs. Truscott
I am staying away from this fight as it takes place in Truscott's hometown.

Simpson comes from my hometown of Greenock which is a tiny shithole.
I am surprised he has done so well as there is only one tiny shithole boxing gym in the town.
It was so small and shitty, it didn't have any speedbags or accuracy balls. Just a ring, 2 punching bags, hand pads and a wall mirror to shadow box in.

I would have taken a chance on the under if it was 11 1/2 instead of 9 1/2 at +400.
Simpson is starting to crack harder than his record suggests and has a very mean body punch (This suggests to me that he done the wise thing and got the Fuk out of Greenock and found himself a good boxing gym).

Weepaul, you like Simpson KO +600?

Yes.

Simpson hits harder than his record suggests. He is a good body puncher.

This fight is in Truscotts backyard so I think Simpsons only chance is by stoppage. He probably knows this and might try to get him out of there.

It is worth a small wager.

For those of us on Pozo, apparently there is a stream today (although I've never heard of the site):

Pozo vs Rodrigues for Euro title!
Watch the show live online free.
In the main event former European champion Ivan Pozo 29-5-1, 19 KOs will fight French Christophe Rodrigues 15-14-3, 2 KOs for the vacant European flyweight championship. The show will be broadcast in live streaming worldwide on www.streamit.it (channel 9), starting at 10 PM Spanish time (4:00 P.M. Eastern-time in the United States).

Edit: this is the same site that screwed up the Branco Italian card....hope they get it right today...

small on truscott -105

med on pozo -500

med/lrge on Yashiro -185

med/lrge on over sanders/albert -125

I have a med/ lrge wager on Quintero +260 (should only be a small play)so I'll need to hedge. I think Casal is a c fighter. The guy is tough but he has no defense. Quintero is certainly unproven but Evan makes a good argument for him in this fight. It should be a fans fight.

Good Luck Everybody!
