Since Alekseev decided to ruin my Saturday, I am going a bit more conservative

I am hedging my Berto KO with a Collazo dec. prop bet that will get me half my money back in the event of a loss.

I think Berto smacks him silly, but I got to play this safe (it's about a g)

if Collazo gets a KO you will be able to create a river with my tears

I can almost guarantee Berto doesn't get stopped; i think Berto by late rds ko is good value (+900 at ladbrokes).

So i'm in the big money if Collazo wins (dec) or Berto stops him between 10-12.

Sniff...sniff...is that money i smell ?

I dunno guys, I don't share your confidence. My only play here is Collazo straight, I don't think a stoppage is out of the question. At some point Collazo will land a perfect counter to wobble Berto, we haven't seen how he reacts in that situation.

I agree Berto late KO is good value, might look into it myself.

I tend to think the only way Collazo wins is the home run punch. He's not going to outwork Berto, he's just not a physically strong overwhelm you type. Even though I had money on Collazo against Hatton, I had to agree that Hatton nipped it by a point because Collazo let Hatton outwork him in the mid late rounds before he got rocked. You might think the close one goes to Dibella and Haymon's star pupil. Good luck.

All in all a good week. Strted with a loss on truscott then won 3 straight w/Pozo, Albert over and Quintero. Counting my lucky stars that Yashiro was able to get up from a brutal body assault and pull out a draw. I lost a decnt amt on the murray over and won a small play on menzer and a small/med on berto. Wish I'd left the bets alone today but still a very nice week. Congrats Madjacks crew! Looks like most did well. Sorry to see you lose on alexeev Ghost but at least you pulled out the berto win! Congrats...BIG week coming up w/Margo/Mos!

Im surprised u guys are not talking about the fight. As a fan of mma and boxing ur not gonna get it much better then that fight. Just a terrific fight. I thought the 116-111 score was a joke as i did Lettermans card. I think it was round seven were Letterman gave the round to Collazo where i think he thru one punch. I haven't been around boxing as much as u guys but i really enjoyed that fight. Props to NJ (i think it was him) for picking up all the holes in Berto's game. I think a champion should get every close round so i had Berto winning a close one. If there were no belts involved i would have given it to the Collazo . Its a shame the lefty didn't just stay to the body a little more because he hurt Berto every time he hit him there. I thought it was also funny how the announcers kept talking about the first round knockdown when i didn't see a knockdown at all:shrug: . All and all the announcers did a great job on the fight and i love how Max always questions Lettermans card. They should let Max do the judging and send Letterman out to pasture. Pooor Collazo can't get a fair shake. I still think he beat Hatton and this one was as close as it gets. Props to his beard unless Berto doesn't have the power we were led to believe. Great fight.
