115=113 in favour of Daws, Romi
115=113 in favour of Daws, Romi
I had it a very tight fight, Romi, Daws pulling away in the last few rounds to win by 115-113. The odds are influenced by the Sky TV commentaries, nothing crooked about it. When Jim Watt or Adam Smith or Glenn McCrory say things like: "Cook is starting to tire badly now" or "Daws is in complete control now" the odds almost invariably spike in the live betting as players get behind the guy the commentators believe is on his way to the win. ... There were rounds when Cook was slipping punches, landing hooks and uppercuts and giving Daws a bit of a boxing lesson yet Glenn McCrory and Adam Smith were seeing them as Daws rounds.

No attempt to discredit anyone's view of the Brit fight (Daws/Cook) earlier but both fighters thought the fight was very close. Both apparently thought the fight was w/in a rd or so, per boxingscene. I didn't see it so take my previous comments with a grain of salt. I know I tend to harp on the foreign scoring but as we saw just 2 weeks ago, the same shenanigans go on in the US...referring to Shu/Campillo. Of course I've long forgiven Patricia Jarmin for that blatantly corrupt score card :142smilie
Would like to get Grahams take on the fight when he gets a chance.
