"the bunker"
clash of heads is probably more politically correct...

and now on to lacy/calzaghe...

a big lacy fan here..so strong....a beast....BUT....

i can`t help think back to sheika fighting a clinching, incredibly ugly fight vs lacy...surviving...and losing a ridiculously close decision(115-113 on 2 cards)....

the same sheika that had trouble with scott pemberton...in pemberton`s backyard....

ohhhh..those backyards...

if calzaghe isn`t blown out...if it goes the distance...he has an excellent chance...the same calzaghe that whacked sheika....

if sheika did it...why not calzaghe at men arena?.....

food for thought...

anybody see the head clash?...anybody tape it?....

i`m just a little surprised that hbo missed it.....

the right hands exaserbated the damage....

but it was a clash of heads...
I didn't see the "clash" of heads either. But there was just no way that could have resulted initially by any blow by Mosley, especially only after the first round. Shane just didn't have any power behind his punches last night.

GW-I sat ringside here in Vegas for that Sheika-Lacy fight. I bet the under. Figured Lacy would decapitate Omar. I think Jeff took Sheika a tad lightly. Not so here. This IS the defining for Jeff Lacy. I am concerned about "home cooking" for sure. Lets face it, the Brits still have their panties in a bunch since Thomas Jefferson shoved the Declaration of Independence down their throats. One reason I stay away from Olympic wagering when it comes to subjective opinion. I think Jeff most likely stops Joe as the Brit has had some health issues according to reports. Lacy will die in the ring before he gives in to ths guy.

Or buy a nosebleed seat and have a friend who knows the security people and get "relocated" to ringside. The sportsbooks hold ticks for dime players. Or if the fight hasn't really sold big, they will "paper" the joint, meaning give tickets if folks ask around. We also scalp as many tickets are held by the promoters and others. As johnnyb said though, if you are known as a guy who fires away at the book, you can ask and get tickets. If you play table games or even larger denomination slots you can ask the casino host. Here, if you aren't known as a player, it's who you know, period.

Another nice hit Box on your Tokuyama over...

Tokuyama defeats Navarro!
WBC super flyweight champion Masamori Tokuyama (32-3-1, 8 KOs) has just retained his WBC super flyweight title by unanimous decision over Jose Navarro (23-2, 11 KOs) in Osaka, Japan. Scores were 116-113, 117-113, 116-113. (More to come)

Great finish to a superb weekend

He was robbed against Kawashima, Tokuyama is a much different fighter than Kawashima though. Kawashima is a sloppy brawler, Tokuyama is a boxer who is a pain in the ass to fight. He uses his long arms and height advantage very well.

Turned out to be a bad style matchup for Navarro. I figured it was.
