"the bunker"
you can usually count on prospects that are being promoted by a network or the promoter of a show getting things shaded their way....

keyode took like the first rounds off and franco got the benefit of the doubt on what looked like a sure knockdown.....

and that point deduction after the fight ended on ianuzzi?....

whoa....

ianuzzi better than i figured(or keyode not quite as good?)...

i thought franco did enough...franco`s good but he won`t be able to stand in the pocket vs better fighters like he did tonight...

they were very entertaining fights,though.....really made the night after that chatman mess...

Rigoberto Alvarez vs. Austin Trout

Rigoberto Alvarez vs. Austin Trout

<img src="http://www.boxingscene.com/uploads/35586/rigoberto_alvarez_vs_austin_trout2.jpg">

Anybody liking Trout over Rigo? Haven't seen much of Trout, but I've seen plenty of Rigo to know his limitations as a slow, plodding come forward fighter. However in his last fight against Ishida I thought his upperbody movement significantly improved, perhaps due to training with his younger brother Canelo? From what I've seen of Trout, he doesn't seem to have much pop and looks like he likes to potshot mostly. I think he can box circles around Rigo though.

Trout has recently sparred with Margarito in prep for Manny, Matthysse in prep for Judah, and Serg in prep for Paul Will. When asked about Margarito and how he was going to deal with and keep up w/ Manny's speed, he said Margarito couldn't keep up w/ his speed nevermind Manny's, but he made adjustments.

Im on Trout! Odds have steadily dropped. I got in on him early at +250. Obvious concerns are location and the fact that Trout hasnt fought in 15 months. I think it will be a tough fight, but I agree December, Trouts boxing skills could well carry him. Alvarez is improving though. I wonder if he has lost too much weight dropping all the way down to 154 from 168. He is ripped, almost a little too much. Not an ounce of fat on him.

Go Trout!

Ramon Garcia Hirales vs. Jesus Geles

Ramon Garcia Hirales vs. Jesus Geles

Ramon Garcia Hirales vs. Jesus Geles 9.5 over @ (-145) Hirales said he's going to knock him out in 5, but the reality is, both men share 13 KOs in 30 bouts, and 99% of those have come against either debutants or fighters with horrific records. Hirales' two KOs that did come against fighters with winning records have been knocked out 6 times and 3 times respectively. Just playing the numbers here.

Crazy

Crazy

Wild weekend of boxing

3 -800 faves (Franco, Booth, Hatley) escape with split wins and a draw.

The other two faves (Mora and Nashiro) lose.

The only guy who was clearly favored and won by UD was Kayode - and most people seem to think he lost !

:scared

quanah on fiyahhhhh

packers for superbowl?
:142smilie

whoa look at the natural wonders behind trout

delicioso :00hour

Another reason to go with Trout.

I like the Packers bro, but Im still suffering from a football hangover due to the Pats dismal performance. I dont think I will ever understand that performance.

I did cash a +800 Sam Bradford rookie of the year ticket today. Placed it at the beginning of the year, that helped.
