Both "should" bring their "A" game, but I believe Vazquez's game is a little better than Marquez's. What I'm saying is if Vazquez is totally focused and dedicated to this fight, he wins. From the big grin on his face at one of the sites, he looks very confident and ready to rock and roll. Now I got to lay the lumber, which pains me. Yea GW, Vaz inside MAY be an option. But Pavlik inside also seemed like a strong play, and we seen how that played out. I's say nothing is obvious in sports betting. No such thing as a "gimme"-no brainer. Ant time a guy says no-brainer, I figure he is speaking about himself. But i guess the best fights are the ones we really can't pick so easily. Later.

Hi,

various small bets on Joppy and over 9 and over 10. Just think Bute is unproven and not so devistating puncher. mAYBE joppy is just in it for the cash, so only small.

Small bet on Marquez. Just for fun.

Large bet on Kentikian vs Goodson. (ladies).

Medium bet on Woods.

Various small bets on maskaev straight and Maskaev ko 10-12 and peter KO1.

Joppy showed in the taylor fight he's not afraid to run like hell. I think that fight has a good shot of going over. Plus you are right, Bute isn't a big puncher. he hits well but not great.

if joppy upsets bute,i`ll be stunned....glad somebody addressed this one....

probably made a mistake using bute in some pars considering the lack of value....,but,i think joppy`s so done...

still,a small side at +almost 1200 might be a smart idea....

5 dimes has no o/u posted...gonna check oly...

It's up at 1 place, others will copy shortly. I wouldn't bother hedging your parlays. If you do though thegreek has the best number. Honestly I give Joppy no real chance to win, but he has a good chance of hanging around IMO.

I'm in the same boat as weasel, have Bute as the closer of several parlays. I noticed thegreek has +1700 on Joppy, but I just can't put money on him, even as a hedge. How does he win this fight? No way he wins a decision, and if Berrio and Bika can't stop Bute, Joppy has no chance.

Weasel is it possible this fight could turn into a Barrera/Morales three? Both guys fought two wars and basically cruise the twelve rounds in the third one? The way Vasquez fights i doubt it but there is always that chance. That total round wager is to close for comfort. By the way the way you wrote up the two fights is exactly the same way i remember.

Glad that you brought that up.

I have been thinking about the over or Bute by decision for some time...

bwin has over 8 2.3 over 9 2.7 and Bute WPTS 3.75, so far no other bookie has lines on this fight, but those lines figure to be pretty good.

Joopy hasnt fought anybody lately, but he looked pretty tough to stop in his fights against Hopkins and Taylor...

5 dimes just put up joppy/bute over 6.5 -160.....

a little surprised they posted that distance ....somebody else must think joppy`s totally shot...

6.5?....very low for a guy that has a history of hanging around...

Flat noses? Guess they can work better inside if their nose doesn't get in the way. I always suspected you for a slightly perved out dude. Is perved a real word?

Nice find, it's now -205 at 5d. I played it -160 at wsex.

If you have a few million dollars lying around, you can scalp with +161 at pinnacle :142smilie

During the press conference, Vazquez remarks were centered around how good a fight this will be, and how when these two guys get together, all hell beaks lose, etc. All Marquez could say was he was going to beat Vazquez, etc. My point? Vazquez seems more confident and relaxed. Marquez is only thinking about NOT losing. I'd say he was a bit apprehensive. Still like Vazquez.

vasquez is confident..no doubt...after part II,he has reason to be...

but,he was cut severely over both eyes..i mean they were bad cuts in bad places...and he was stunned several times...

you can`t forget that this IS rafael marquez, not some one shot wonder that got lucky...he was pitching a shutout in the 1st go round(knockdown notwithstanding) when i believe vasquez realized that he had to go balls to the wall due to his nose...

and you could make the case that marquez was the overconfident one in part II and fought a stupid fight...

any way you break it down,it`s gonna be a great night...

...after leaning more marquez and the solid +170 early, then seeing part II again ,i`ve done a 180 and if i had to make just one wager,it`d be vasquez inside at -106...

could vasquez possibly be overconfident this time around and get picked apart?...wouldn`t shock me a bit...

from reading your take on the comments,it sounds like marquez will be a bit more measured this time around...

not a fight i`d go crazy on..i`m glad i caught the +170/-106 early.....

i`ll tell ya`,if 3 is anything like 1 and 2,this "could" end up being the most brutal trilogy ever....for sheer mayhem in the ring...

at least that i can recall...

forget Halmich, where's that little hottie Mahfood?

Good luck with the fights this week guys,
have fun on the road trip Frank;
tough call but I think Rafael listens to his brain (and N.B.) and not his heart, and avoids the slugfest, and boxes his way to a win.
Doesn't matter though - this one if for entertainment and love of the sport, not $.
(and doesn't the sport need it after last weeks pawing match debacle between heavyweights Chubby and Joe - obscure Little Rascal boxing reference there.)

lol...there`s sonny......now where the hell is joey odessa?....he could pop in every frickin` leap year and say "hello".....

unless he still has a hair stuck up his ass the size of the louisiana purchase over the old castillo/corrales I shinkick(which was profusely apologized for,i might add)...

i had my sack nailed to the park bench for being a schmuck... honestly, i was suffering from a level 5 hard cheese impaction at the time and wasn`t responsible for my ugly demeanor.....

joey,we have a nice little group going here...and i know i luv` ya`...

i hope this was a moving display of sincerity, humility and contrition....
