No, it's a refund of all bets on the "no contest." Just as if the bout never happened.

Thanks brother
Man...end of round 1 and Arnoutis is already making me fall asleep
if he's going to fight like this, I would rather Ortiz ends this soon

Yep, Ortiz is a MAN in the 140 division. The Greek was just a boy.

After watching that video of Ann Wolfe, I think she'd win a special trainer bout between her and McGirt. Maybe they'd even open her at dog odds...

Loser isn't allowed to ever train a fighter again.

Just got in from the fights. The undercards were duds. I was a little nervous after the 1st rd of Guererro/yordan. Yordan was sneaking in some shots and i was afraid The Ghost was going to get frustrated and taken out of his game plan. To be honest, I was happy with the no contest even though it was very early. No bet on ortiz...I had him in the parlay but ulrich fcked that up. As I said earlier Kirkland wasn't going to be denied. Julio landed some bombs on him and he hardly flinched. You have to be crazy if you think he doesn't have a good beard. Kirkland slowly took his heart as Julio couldnt get him to back off even though he was landing his share of hard shots. I knew Julio was dangerous but after the 4th rd I felt Kirk had the W in the bag. It was just a matter of when. I hit Kirk BIG and won a nice amt on the under as well. :00hour :00hour :00hour . Kirk can be beaten but it's going to take a hell of a fighter to discourage him. Kirland/Angulo has FOTY written all over it for 2010. Another EXCELLENT week...Congrats Ghost:mj06: and all Kirk backers!!!

We are ROCK N and ROLL N Romi !!!!

TWO VERY SOLID WEEKS IN A ROW ! CONGRATS !

I, too, was very pleased with the Guerrero NC. I thought he was in deep shite if the fight kept going.

Kellerman even took a dig at The Ghost later in the broadcast, saying "If James Kirkland ever got a cut on his eye in front of the hometown crowd...he would NEVER QUIT" Ouch. I think Guerrero's rep will take a little hit from tonight.

As far as Kirkland-Julio - that played out beautifully and exactly as we planned.

I knew it was over when Julio walked to the ring smiling and singing.
Julio thought he was going to be a participant in a sporting event.
But it's not a sport for Kirkland - It's WAR. and
he walks to the ring with WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION.

After the first punch, the look on Julio's face changed. Dude was like "OH SHIT...I BETTER START RUNNING AND SWING FOR THE FENCES!"

it was just a matter of time. James Kirkland is a blood thirsty animal.

Congrats, Romi ! Back at it next week !

yea, Yordan got off to a nice start but I thought he was there to spoil, get a couple quick punches in and clinch. I think he felt Guerrero's power on one body shot that sent him backwards. Guerrero knew he was in a tough fight and it was a nasty cut that he didn't want to deal with against a game guy but I think Guerrero would have got to him eventually.

What a monster Ortiz is- he walked into the ring at 155 Pounds!!! That's Hatton and Cotto type weight gain. Hattton says no one can beat him at 140 and I beg to differ- Ortiz- Alvarado, Bradley, Holt all capable. I doubt 30 year old Hatton takes on any of the new breed and he wants to call himself the pound for pound champion if he beats ex super bantam Paq. Just not a big fan of the Hit and Hold...I mean Hitman.

Thx Ghost...it was a HUGE wkend. IF Kirkland learns to move his head and use his jab more to get inside, he'll be one tough SOB to beat. He was eating way to many lead rights. Julio needed distance to get his shots off and Kirk was simply glued to him. Julio didnt have an answer except to run. I'm not sure who can beat Kirkland at 154. It will take someone with very good skills, an excellent jab, good pop and someone who can just side step Kirk rather than run. Kirk needs more experience with crafty fighters. A fight with a Quintana type would make sense. With the kind of pop Kirk has, it's easy to get into bad habits. Regardless, he's the most exciting fighter out there right now. :toast: :toast: :toast:

he was on ortiz and Krkland inside the distance. Both pretty massive.
Two big wins for him. He still has had a rough 2009 start.

Nice to see him have a good week. He's been snake bit for a little while. Much of the time I agree with his fight assessments...I just don't agree with his betting methods. I think there is good money on chalk bets and he tends to stick with the dogs. To each his own though. I still subscribe to his site. I had my worst start ever this yr. As of Superbowl Sunday I was 9500 in the red on boxing wagers...6500 thx to Margarito. I was looking to get even by May or June. As of last night I am now about 5-800 in the black:) It's been an amazing 5 weeks:00hour

Two nice hits for Evan. Hopefully that get's him back on track.

I'm kicking myself for not going on Ortiz - I thought Assanoutis might put up a tad more resistance.

Count me SOLD on Ortiz.

Overall though, a profitable week. When the biggest problem is a Guerrero No Contest, you know things have gone well.
