Sounds like Hernandez fight game is built around his glass chin. I took a shot at Crenz, looking at his ledger, I thought he'd at least bomb away... glad I went to the gym and didn't watch that !

Terry Downes, the old middleweight champ, had the right description for fighters like Hernandez. He called them "looking-glass fighters". What Terry meant was, they look good shadow boxing in front of a mirror, they like looking at their reflection, but at their core they are not authentic fighters. Terry wasn't the classiest of fighters but my Lord he had some wars.

Always appreciate the insight and the analogies to some old time fighters. Once in a while I recall some of these Euro fighters you mention. There have been numerous from the 70's that I remember watching that you have referenced.
