Over Jaca 9 1/2 -200 (appears to be a solid bet IMO)

correction...I DON'T reccommend the Jaca over. I rushed into that a little bit and I thought his last 2 were dec draws but they were both tech decs that ended in the 1st rd. My bad for thinking they both went 10. The guy has 4 tech decs in 11 fights and apparently his head has become a 3rd fist in recent fights. I'm feeling very uneasy about that one and I'll probably hedge. Hope nobody else took it.

Ant blitzed Pac in 1. I thought the fight was going to start around 8. Congrats to those that jumped on this. I considered a scalp to win sure money but the early start nixed any thoughts of that. I can buy back some of the over on Jaca that I rushed into. Nice start to the week!

I almost kind of stumbled into that myself...
How can you have two consecutive draws against the same fighter after 1 or 2 rounds!? :shrug:

Jaca is fighting abroad, seems like a tough situation for him.
Is that a pure value play from your part!?

So was Barashian ;)


I guess you could call it a value play, Nagashima just isn't that good, he's had a loss and a draw to mediocre fighters not long ago, and alot of close fights along the way. He doesn't have enough power to keep anyone honest so Jaca will be pressing him all night long. I give Jaca a good chance of winning this fight, regardless of the location

10 to win 100 Pac split decision
10 to win 130 Marq split decision

Split decision is very possible in my opinion.

also played Marquez +161, +172 and +193.

Added the over on Huerta/jueragui 9 1/2 -260.

Lost a couple bucks on ali. No details but it was a spl dec loss in denmark...appears it could have been a hometwn dec. That was strictly a boxrec wager on the younger guy.

I'm 3-1 on the week and admittedly a little lucky. These are basically Boxrec wagers. I wouldn't have placed the over on Jaca had I looked at that a little more. I didn't hedge and still won a few bucks on it. I considered wagering Huerta but held off and wagered the over instead. I'm up 5 hund on the week. I like Pac tonight but I don't want to wager my profit.

Not to blow smoke up your ass but I haven't seen many that can peg the dogs like you Box and have the guts to wager them consistently. The win didn't pan out this time but you have good instinct for calling the direction of a fight, which many so called experts can't do.
