Not to blow smoke up your ass but I haven't seen many that can peg the dogs like you Box and have the guts to wager them consistently. The win didn't pan out this time but you have good instinct for calling the direction of a fight, which many so called experts can't do.
Thanks Romi...means alot coming from you
Looking back over my totals from the last 6 years, the underdogs have paid the bills more than anything else. Every year they continue to produce, you just have to get used to losing every once in a while, hitting 50% is outstanding
As for this weeks dog, I knew the location and promotion were against me here, and I knew if I lost that would be the reason. Scores were 95-94 / 96-94 / 97-93 all for the hometown fighter, which means Jaca would've gotten at least a draw anywhere else. Jaca can crack a little bit, and Naga has been stopped before, so I was hoping this wouldn't make it to the cards. Instead, Naga felt some power and got on his bycycle knowing he had the juice behind him. Oh well, it was still worth a small play imo
What pisses me off more is that the other underdog on that Japan card was +350 also and somehow cashed. I looked at that fight as well, and on paper he had much less of a chance to win than Jaca. Hell, Ishii had just lost a UD to Naga prior to this fight with Nakamori. Naga had been stopped before and went the distance with Ishii. Naka had never been stopped but only lasted 2 rounds with the same guy...lol
Anyway, out of the two underdogs on the Japan card, I took the wrong one...go figure
