This Friday in Mexico

This Friday in Mexico

This one slipped by me on the schedule. A real classic in Mexico Friday night.

Jose Luis Castillo (62-10) vs. Jorge Paez Jr (26-3)

With Dilks out, I would have to favor Webb heading into the Prizefighter semis.

The UK bookies agree - he is EVENS to take it.

Lets see what happens - really over 3 rounds anyone can take this.

Smyle gutted it over Dilks on aggression alone.

Prizefighter Final starting now:

Local favorite Rocky Fielding enters the ring to the Balboa theme song

He will face Tobias Webb - Enzo Mac's nephew

Winner gets the title of Prizefighter champ and, more importantly, money

Steve Kim from maxboxing.com is reporting Floyd might be fighting Paul Spadafora in July. Seriously? What did they pull his name out of a hat? And is there anyone who is less deserving of making a big paycheck then Spadafora?

Really smart fight for the Pretty Boy Camp

Only other fight out there would be winner of Berto-Victor Ortiz, which is too much risk-reward for PBF. Same with winner of Bradley-Khan. All would be fights he could lose without getting the mega-PPV payday.

Spadafora will sell equally as well (probably ever better) as these 12 year old youtube videos circulate and the '24/7" on Spadafora should be interesting as well. Controversy sells tickets.

In terms of the fight itself, I would set the line

PBF -2500 O/U 6.5

but what do I know?
