Friday plays

Huge weekend!!

I think Carlos Molina is going to give a very good account of himself tonight. He has not fought in a long time, that's not good. Before inactive spell though he was dominating decent/good guys (Paredes, Perez). Hard to imagine Molina winning though. I do think Lara has been a bit flattered by recent soft opposition. Molina is durable and I like the OVER here. Also, at +1000 I just can't help myself and will go a bit on Molina to pull off a shocker.

Y.Jhonson looks like good parlay material. R.Gutierrez is shot.

Upshaw also looks live at +200 for a bit. Odds have dropped now. Even bout to me.

Agree with everything except Molina play.
Good luck :toast:

The Algerian bout must have been cancelled, as Romi stated.

Either that or there is no internet in Algeria.

I hit the over...not a huge play but I'll take it. Very astute of you guys to have played the draw. Congrats to both:toast:. Nice call for Quanah on that one as well!

I had the fight 6-4 Molina, and I was trying to give rounds to Lara.

Excellent effort from Molina.

Thanks Romi. These draw bets, most of the time, don't pan out. But it just takes a few a year to really pay off.

I actually thought Lara landed the cleaner, more effective shots down the stretch. Glad the judges saw it closer than I did.

Molina is one tough customer and he always gives 100%. Good TV fighter.

Lara really waxed him in the ninth round, but many of the other rounds were close. Lara landed clean shots, but not often enough to really make a statement. And Molina was pressing forward, making an impression on the judges with his activity (more than his accuracy).

I knew you would be on that draw Lord!
:toast:

You are the master of that prop sir.
:0074

Many gamblers think its a sucker bet. But the key, as you stated, is knowing when a fight might be closer than the odds indicate.

It doesn't make much sense, in my opinion, to play a draw when a fight is -110 either way and the TIE prop is +1000.

But shit, when Lara is -1500 and the prop is 40:1? Gimme that 7 days a week.
