I fully understand Hatton's limitations (I admit to LAYING money on Tackie versus him)

but +900 and U9.5 now at -200 on a guy who knows all the tricks and has durability versus a 20 y/o kid

I am unsure who (if anyone) I will be on but this is it not a foregone conclusion IMHO

Did you see the Broner Quintero fight!?

It seems like Broner has destroyed everybody put in front of him with the exception of this guy!

@Buck Swope

IMO it has really reached a funny point!!

Hatton really seems to believe in himself and I expect him to put up a good fight!

I definitely don't see Canello as good as hipped. Too methodical and not enough speed. I respect Hatton as pro who is honest hard worker.
But, I wouldn't bet Hatton here even if he is +2000. Really can't see him win this.

I believe Canelo will win but no way would I lay down the money at the current odds. I parlayed Canelo/Cotto and nearly shat my pants when Little Cotto had him hurt bad in rd 1. That being said, Hatton can't take a very good crack, especially early in the fight. Takes him a few rds to warm up. Would not be surprised to see this end very early.

Friday plays

Friday plays

Me thinks that Mack is on a different level than Griffen. He will dominate this fight one way or another. I hit him pretty hard at -205. Odds have traveled now.

Much lesser, I would take Syllakh over Despaigne in what is a great matchup on espn. Despaigne has not been overly impressive.

Early Results from Finland

Light welterweight Denis Shafikov (26-0-1, 15 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Nugzar Margvelashvili (18-10, 7 KOs). Margvelashvili took an eight-count in round four after a body punch punch from the southpaw Shafikov, who pretty much did what he wanted to do.

Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez weighed in at 151.8 pounds for his 154lb WBC world title match against Matthew Hatton on Saturday. Unfortunately for Alvarez, the bout against welterweight Hatton is being being fought at a 150lb catch weight (four pounds under the division limit), so he needs to drop 1.8 pounds.

"the bunker"
freddie fricking norwood?....he was an annoying, tricky, hard to fight guy in his heyday....

shocked that he`s still lacein` em up...

if canelo doesn`t spank hatton,i`ll be very surprised(what is hatton even doing in this fight?......he has 0 advantages:shrug: ).... a struggle would make those 35-odd wins look very ???.....

you have a guy like hatton who has been uber-protected...literally steered into a bogus championship in europe...a "good" journeyman....coming to the u.s. to fight one of the hottest young prospects in the world...he has to be getting a mint to do this fight....

but maybe, like some on here have mentioned, canelo is also a protected, overrated guy....i noticed that alvarez is avoiding the welterweight division like it`s the plague...he`s campaigning at jr middle....but as a jr.middleweight, canelo has yet to weight over 150 and change...he hasn`t hit 151...

which tells me that he might be avoiding the monster welterweight division....

he didn`t make the 150 catch weight here...that could mean he`s having trouble making 150....but based on his weights in his last 4 fights,i doubt that...

maybe he`s overlooking hatton....

i don`t expect much from hatton here...but maybe he`ll surprise us?... ...considering all this stuff,it seems more interesting than i initially thought....
